Navjivan Trust to launch Cafeteria, Art Gallery and Center for Sustainable Development
Navajivan Trust, founded by father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi, is going to inaugurate whole new set of features to its legacy. The trust has built up an enriching ‘Satya’ Art Gallery which will show case photographs and art works of Gandhiji and his thoughts. In addition, a cafeteria, ‘Karma’ café, in the organization’s campus will be opened to avail a space to talk and discuss Gandhian philosophy over a cup of coffee.
Above these two structural additions, the organization will start “Navajivan Centre for Sustainable Development” as one of its functional bodies. The centre will play a key role in connecting Gandhian Philosophy to various developments taking place in the country.
‘Satya’ Art Gallery, ‘Karma’ café and ‘Navajivan Centre for Sustainable Development’ will be inaugurated by Chief Minister of Gujarat Smt. Anandiben Patel at 04:00 pm on January 29, 2015, on the eve of ‘Gandhi Nirvana Din’.
The objective of NCSD is to work in direction of realization of India which was dreamed by Gandhiji decades back using various projects, both independently and in association with the Government. The mission of NCSD is to strengthen the internal body of the organization and to emerge as a professional consulting and implementation agency which will utilize technical knowledge in Gandhian way.
The core of NCSD’s objectives is to strengthen rural India by facilitation of basic needs and making state-of-the-art developments possible at grass-root level. The centre is conceptualized in a way that it can work in association with Government shoulder to shoulder for various projects. The birth of NCSD will make sure that any worth idea does not limit itself to a mere thought and gets realized.

Synopsis
---------------
A selfish NRI who does not care about his relatives back in India, suddenly decides to come and seek their blessings once property comes into the equation.
Sukumar (Aadi) is a selfish and extremely money minded young fellow who is very successful in life. He however needs some urgent cash to kickstart his dream project. At precisely this point, he comes to know that an inheritance worth 150Crores is waiting for him in his village.
He decides to travel to the village and meet his grandmother Vandanamma (Sharada), a slightly cranky old lady who is revered by the villagers. Sukumar tries to emotionally blackmail her for the property.
But his plans keep getting thwarted by history, his uncle Rao Ramesh and others. A track with Sankari (Nisha Aggarwal) also comes in during this time.
Will Sukumar succeed in his plans or will his evil schemes be detected by the villagers? That forms the story.
Pilla Jamindar fame Ashok has teamed up with ‘Lovely’ Aadi for ‘Sukumarudu’ movie. Lot of expectation were mounted on the film due to the director’s previous movie and a good album composed by Anoop Rubens.
The film is basically a fun film. There's something unique about most of the characters that are etched very well by the director. Aadi's got it in him to entertain you, so long as you do not increase your expectations from him - to do what the big heroes do. But yes, he's good in his dancing shoes but one would say that is mainly because of the music provided by Anup Reubens. Nisha Agarwal had a neat role and performed well and in whatever screen space that Bhavna Ruparel got, she made good use of to show her talent. The movie is a bit lengthy, and the fight scenes could have been pruned. On the whole, a summer entertainer.

Learning by listening is a great way to:

SUMMARY
=======
Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (; Hindustani: [ˈmoːɦəndaːs ˈkərəmtʃənd ˈɡaːndʱi] (listen); 2 October 1869 – 30 January 1948) was an Indian activist who was the leader of the Indian independence movement against British rule. Employing nonviolent civil disobedience, Gandhi led India to independence and inspired movements for civil rights and freedom across the world. The honorific Mahātmā (Sanskrit: high-souled, venerable) – applied to him first in 1914 in South Africa – is now used worldwide. In India, he is also called Bapu (Gujarati: endearment for father, papa) and Gandhi ji, and known as the Father of the Nation.Born and raised in a Hindu merchant caste family in coastal Gujarat, India, and trained in law at the Inner Temple, London, Gandhi first employed nonviolent civil disobedience as an expatriate lawyer in South Africa, in the resident Indian community's struggle for civil rights. After his return to India in 1915, he set about organising peasants, farmers, and urban labourers to protest against excessive land-tax and discrimination. Assuming leadership of the Indian National Congress in 1921, Gandhi led nationwide campaigns for various social causes and for achieving Swaraj or self-rule.
Gandhi led Indians in challenging the British-imposed salt tax with the 400 km (250 mi) Dandi Salt March in 1930, and later in calling for the British to Quit India in 1942. He was imprisoned for many years, upon many occasions, in both South Africa and India. He lived modestly in a self-sufficient residential community and wore the traditional Indian dhoti and shawl, woven with yarn hand-spun on a charkha. He ate simple vegetarian food, and also undertook long fasts as a means of both self-purification and political protest.
