Berlin Charlottenburg: Savignyplatz
Savignyplatz is located in Berlin 's Charlottenburg district and was named after the jurist Friedrich Carl von Savigny in 1887. Savignyplatz station (today on the S-Bahn line that crosses the city east to west) opened in 1896. In 1931, two bronze sculptures Boys with Goat by August Kraus were set up in the northern half of the square, although only one today is original. On the southern half of the square is a reconstructed kiosk from 1905 by Alfred Grenander, which today is a listed monument.
