Madeleine Albright in Prague: Disgusting Serbs!
On October 23rd, in Prague, Czech Republic there was a book-signing event for former U.S secretary of state Madeleine Albright's new book Prague Winter in the Luxor bookshop. Several activists from the organization Friends of Serbs in Kosovo led by film director Vaclav Dvorak (the author of the documentary Stolen Kosovo), presented five posters with photographs of victims from NATO's humanitarian bombing campaign and politely asked Albright to sign them. Ms. Albright was caught off guard, which was followed by the aggressive interference of the bookstore security.
The inability to face critique adequately and with dignity. This might be the right description of Albright's reaction, which followed, after the members of Friends of Serbs in Kosovo presented her the posters with pictures of the Kosovo telecommunications, first children's victim of the so called humanitarian bombing 3 years old Milica Rakić, Serbian refugees from the Croatia's Krajina and militant Muslim volunteers in the Bosnian army. This is your work as well, madam the activists said while asking her to sign the posters. Madeleine Albright was noticeably disconcerted, agitated, and upset, refused to sign the posters and started yelling: Get out, Disgusting Serbs and You are war criminals and ordered the activists to leave the Luxor bookstore.
Madeleine Albright pushed through the bombing of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in 1999 by NATO aircraft without a UN mandate for her office of the foreign minister of the USA, supported the jihad in Bosnia in 1992-1995, manipulated with the facts about the Srebrenica massacre and strongly personally profited by the privatization of the telecommunications in Kosovo. She is supposed to bear the consequences of her political decisions and admit her responsibility for the bloodshed and thousands of civil victims. Explains one of the participants, Daniel Huba, why he used the personal presence of Albright in Prague and brought her the poster to sign.
After the activists presented the posters to Madeleine Albright, the bookstore security started to interference aggressively and several activists were both, verbally and physically attacked. There were expressions like fucking Bolsheviks, which some of the members of the citizen's associations Friends of Serbs in Kosovo, which unites many members across political parties and convictions, understands as an offence and will be asking for an apology. The Czech police are investigating if the bookstore employees broke any laws in the way they treated the activists. The members of Friend of Serbs in Kosovo strongly disagree with such as unprofessional approach of the bookstore Luxor security, which is very similar to the totalitarian practices of censorship and opposes the basic principles of the democratic discussion and plurality of opinions.

Exploring Prague 3, Prague Castle
Although the Castle complex still includes the Old Royal Palace it is primarily a center for Czech Republic government, and office of the President. Castle Square, outside the complex is ringed with Palaces and Embassy buildings including the Schwarzenberg Palace with distinctive Sgraffito decoration. (3-D stucco enhanced by trompe-d'oeil techniques.)
St Vitus Cathedral is the central and most impressive landmark of Castle Hill. Conceived largely by Peter Parler, the Cathedral was begun in 1344. Only the eastern portion is genuinely Gothic, with the newer western portion blending perfectly. Under construction for 600 years. Thankfully not improved during the Baroque period, it retains many Medieval-Gothic details and eastern European motifs like the onion-domed towers.
Nearby, St George's Basilica stands in stark contrast to the Gothic cathedral. This Romanesque church is simple and austere. Many late 16th-century frescos survive due to careful restoration efforts that retained most of the original character and detailing of the building.
The Old Royal Palace is a late Gothic / Early Renaissance building but the exterior has changed completely several times and no longer resembles the original Palace. Inside, however, it still contains elaborate Renaissance vaults and tracery, coats of arms, original artifacts, and frescoes.
At the foot of Castle Hill stands the Church of St Nicholas, designed by the father-son architects Christoph and Kilian Ignaz Dientzenhoffer, famous for their skill in High Baroque. (Neither lived to see it completed.) Constructed 1703 -- 1761, artwork and decoration were accomplished by Prague's best artists of the period. Key sculptures and the pulpit, (1765 by Richard and Peter Prachner) were added over time. Eastern influences, including stuatues of the Eastern Church Fathers, are blended with the Baroque decoration.

Orlík Castle (South Bohemia, Czech Republic) | [HD] SmartDrone.fr | S01E03
Built in the thirteenth-century probably by Přemysl Otakar II on a 60-meter high cliff, Orlík Castle dominates the Vltava River valley.
At this time it was a wooden castle like an eagle’s nest.
In later centuries it gained the appearance of a stone Gothic castle for the royal garrison.
However, the rock and the settlement below the castle were swallowed up by a dam in the 20th century, but the impressive appearance and the ancient name Orlík (Small Eagle) were preserved.
Orlík Castle has long belonged to the Schwarzenbergs, an influential family during the reign of the Habsburgs.
Today, the castle museum houses the personal collection of this noble family.
The arms room has an exceptionally beautiful interior.
Access to the château is by a stone bridge across the moat.
Three round towers rise above the main facade, one of them being the original, built in the 14th century.
The passage into the château is cut into the rock and leads to a trapezoidal courtyard, with arcades on the ground floor.
The oldest building is the former palace, which dates from the 14th century and forms the north side of the courtyard.
