Diving In Malaysia | Langkawi Snorkeling | Follow Mike On Malaysia
My first Diving Experience was great. We went to Palau Payar island for Scuba Diving, and I was not disappointed. I did my first dive, and later I did lots of Snorkeling. It was sooo great, I enjoyed it.

DIVING IN PULAU PAYAR, LANGKAWI, MALAYSIA
#BESTTHINGTODO #LANGKAWI #MALAYSIA #Scuba #Water_World
#Langkawi is not a #diving destination. However, if you are there for other reasons and want to get in the water there are a couple of options. One is #Langkawi #Scuba which operates a dive boat from the beach at Pantai Cenang. Other dive shops take their divers by ferry to #Pulau #Payar, about an hour out of Kuah Town.
#Scuba diving is frequently offered during tours to Pulau Payar. Once you book a trip to the island, the operators will approach you on the ferry to see if you’re interested in scuba diving. The dive masters provide a one-on-one guide for those who decide to take up on the offer, so that those who have never dived before can do so. The deeper waters where the operators bring you hold a richer variety of large fish. Guided by experienced divers, you’ll see schools of barracudas, cod and snappers, which are absent from the shallow waters of the beach in Pulau Payar. After an hour or two in the deep water, the divers will head back to Pulau Payar for some fun and relaxation. Pulau Payar scuba diving tours are about two hours long, with dives being conducted at 15 sites in the area of the four islands.
The Best Time for Scuba Diving in Langkawi While Pulau Payar scuba diving is available all year round, #Langkawi experiences heavy rainfall due to monsoon winds in the months of September and October. While showers are sometimes accompanied by violent thunderstorms, the weather in Langkawi is mostly good, even at this time. Therefore, the sea surrounding Langkawi is relatively calm compared to destinations on the east coast. The best time to enjoy this popular #Langkawi activity is during the dry season, which takes place from November until April. The weather is sunny, with little rain and good water visibility, and temperatures ranging between 25°C and 32°C. You can still enjoy a day of scuba diving in Langkawi during the mid-season (April until August), when rainfall is light and waters are relatively clear.

Langkawi Island itself has no diving spots. You have to go to Marine Park Group of islands. They are located about 30km south east of Langkawi Island and North of Penang. There are many dive operators on Langkawi who can get you there during a day trip.
Once you book a trip to the island, the operators will approach you on the ferry to see if you’re interested in scuba diving. The dive masters provide a one on one guide for those who decide to take up on the offer, so that those who have never dived before can do so.
The largest number of coral species in the country and the most brightly colored soft corals.
The clear blue waters and its virgin white sands, draws many tourist daily to the marine park, to swim, sunbathe, snorkle and dive in the warm waters of the Andaman sea.

#Naturallylangkawi
Langkawi is known as “The Jewel of Kedah”. It is an archipelago of 104 islands located in the Andaman Sea, 30 Km from the mainland coast of Malaysia. The main island is where all the hotels, resorts and attractions are.
» ISLAND HOPPING JET SKI TOUR
This is one of the best attractions in Langkawi. OMG!! We had so much fun!! First we had some safety instruction and also practiced riding the jet ski on the shallow water. Then from Pantai Cenang beach we left for four hours tour around Langkawi. So many beautiful islets, clear sea and amazing rock formations. We got really close to some bizarre rocks, breathtaking!
» SNORKELING AT PULAU PAYAR MARINE PARK
The best spot for snorkeling and dive is the Pulau Payar island that is also a Marine Park.
» KILIM KARST GEOFOREST PARK
The Geoforest Park is stunning, you get together two amazing natural attractions of Langkawi: the river and the forest!
» MARDI FRUIT FARM
This is the perfect place to go after lunch. It´s a paradise of trees and you can pick your own fruit for a delicious and fresh dessert.
» LANGKAWI CRAFT COMPLEX
This beautiful building keeps many secrets of Langkawi. At the museum you can discover the history and culture of the island.
» SKYCAB AND SKYBRIDGE
This is the best view-point in the entire island. The cable car in Langkawi has two stops with a privileged view, and the trip to the top is really smooth. You go up to 950 meters above the sea level and you feel like floating in the air! When you are on the top of the mountain walk to the Skybridge and be delighted by the view from the both sides of the island!
» PARASAILING
This is one of the coolest things to do in Langkawi! Seriously, I thought it would be a nice to fly with a parachute but I didn’t expect it would be so amazing, safe and fun!
Our parasailing adventure took off from Tanjung Rhu beach. We flew with Naam Adventure and it was a superb experience.
