Heim Lodge Sons of Norway Members Read Troll Stories
Members of the Heim Lodge (#4-178) Sons of Norway in Devils Lake, North Dakota read troll stories to elementary students as part of their Trolls In My Trunk program. Heim Lodge member Marilyn Pederson presented the stories while wearing an authentic Norwegian sweater and an old hat that belonged to her uncle. Heim Lodge Cultural/Social Director Mary Ann Johnson, and Youth Director Darlene Schoenfish assisted.

Wildcamping in Lofoten Norway
A 17-days Wildcamping trip to Lofoten in Northern Norway above the polar circle. We used Norway's clean lakes to gather water for drinking and cooking. The only showers we had were in the lakes.
We hiked from Å to Leknes, which is from the far south to north. This was approximately 65 kilometers.
The video is filmed with a GoPro Hero 4 and produced in GoPro Studio.

Lofoten Islands Nature | Svolvær / Årstein in 4K | Norway
[Lofoten Norway Nature] Next part of our travel in Norway. In this video we visited Arstein and stayed at the city Svolvaer. We went hiking in Svolvaer to one of the mountain peaks. I have to say this walk wasn’t very easy in the beginning. The path to follow wasn’t really a path you could easily follow. For me it was no problem, but I can see some people who haven’t done much hiking in their live, can have a little trouble reaching the mountain top. This area is still located at the Lofoten Islands.
We also walked to the bay of Svolvaer. This walk was something better for the whole family. Nice views and awesome places in the surrounding area.

It is also one of Norway’s best sites for surfing, and one of the world’s northernmost.

Tredje Svanfjell, Senja 4K (Ultra HD)
The third svanfjell is the 7th largest mountain in the island of Senja, it rises 898 meters above sea level.
Great views of large parts of Senja, especially towards Svandalen and Kaperdalen, as well as a number of mountains on the horizon.
