Walking in a residential Japanese neighborhood in Tokyo - Setagaya - 4K 60FPS (No Sound)
In this video I will take you on a walk in a quiet and relaxed residential area somewhere in Setagaya-Ku (Tokyo) near the Tamagawa River. Unfortunately, I was using an external mic while recording this, but I didn't notice that the batteries had run out, so there's no sound in this video. I didn't think I would publish it at all at first, but then I thought that there might be some of you who will enjoy it anyway, so I decided to get it out there.
Tomorrows post will have sound, I promise!
This was filmed on a weekday in November 2018, with a Fujifilm X-T3 in 4K 60FPS. The lens used is a Laowa 9mm f2.8, and the camera was mounted on a Zhiyun Crane gimbal for stability.
Shot in F-Log and graded in Adobe Premiere CC.

Setagaya tram is one of the only two remaining trams in Tokyo, and hidden within Setagaya ward lie cozy neighborhoods which gives you a closer look to the intimate everyday lives of Tokyo residents and many noteworthy attractions including the birthplace of Maneki-neko. Setagaya line begins at Sangenjaya, which is only two stations away from Shibuya on the Tokyu Den-en Toshi Line. Hop on to the Maneki-neko tram and explore this lovely neighbourhood full of hidden gems!

Setagayapark was designed 1992 by landscape gardener Ken Nakajima from Japan. Twincity and cultural agreements have existed for many years between Vienna's Döbling district and Setagaya, a suburb of Tokyo. The park was laid out near a retirement home. Setagayapark emulates a Japanese landscape with several ponds and streams, and it contains the densely-planted garden elements that are typical of Japanese gardens. There is a Japanese tea house, a Yukimi style stone lantern, several stone sculptures and a fountain, as well as a poem set in stone at the entrance to the garden. The interesting plantings with Japanese maple, ornamental cherry trees and moor bedding plants such as azaleas are particularly noteworthy. The rich variety of plants creates an everchanging display of blossom and transformations from season to season. The purpose of this design is that people should observe this work of art in tranquillity and try to find their own inner peace. (
