The surviving coconut
At Shaan & Jeevan's Eco-Farm we started planting fruits trees in the beginning of 2015. But a bush huge fire took place in March 2015 and over half of our fruits trees burnt down.
This is one of the surviving coconut trees! We will be happy when we can enjoy its fruits in a couple of years.

The cashew nut tree.
Shaan & Jeevan's Eco-farm has lots of beautiful trees and these are one of our favourites.
The former owner's grandfather planted this cashew nut tree about 40 years ago. We are now enjoying its shade and its fruits and feel immensely blessed.
Planting trees for future generations is what we want to do.

The well
Shaan & Jeevan's Eco-Farm is about being Eco-Friendly and protecting Nature.
We have dug 2 fresh water well and we will also collect rain water so we save as much water as possible.
This is how we get the water for our plants.

Nirmalas red flowers.
At Shaan & Jeevan's Eco-farm we love flowers.
My sister Nirmala gave us this beautiful plant with red flowers when we first set up our ecological B&B on Koh Lanta. This was in 2010.
Now, in 2016, as the B&B has been sold, the plant moves with us to the farm.
Thank You Sister.

Another view of the farm
Shaan & Jeevan's Eco-Farm is 4 rai big (6400 square meters long).
This video show the bottom end of the farm, the area where we will have our house. For now we have a tent.
It is nice and calm at 4.00 in the afternoon in February, the dry season.

Hand made fence
Shaan & Jeevan's Eco-Farm is a plot of land of 4 Rai (6400 square meters) in the middle of nowhere. It is all empty around us, only buffaloes wander around.
So we have made a fence around our land to protect our fruits trees.
The fence is just dried branches, lined up all along the property. Nothing fancy and it looks like a pile of branches. But, we have also planted bananas and coconut trees along the fence so they eventually will be like the wall.
