Downtown is Hawaii’s bustling political and business hub, known for its skyscrapers and the lavish Iolani Palace, a restored 19th-century royal residence with original furnishings. The Hawaii State Art Museum shows local contemporary art. On Honolulu Harbor, Aloha Tower Marketplace has sea views from the 1920s Aloha Tower, as well as a large waterfront stage, a concert pavilion and waterfront restaurants
How to Drive Around OAHU in ONE Day
So what is the best route to drive around the island of Oahu? You can't actually drive around the entire island, but there are some nice drives that can take you around most of the island. Here is my recommendation to driving around Oahu in one day to see a lot of sites and avoid the major traffic: Waikiki to Hawaii Kai to Kailua to Kaneohe to Kahuku to Haleiwa to Wahiawa to Pearl City to Kaneohe to Honolulu to Kapolei.

How to Know If Someone Is From Hawaii
How to know if someone is from Hawaii
So how do you know if someone is from Hawaii? I talk about three signs that someone is probably from Hawaii. And yes, for many locals, it's important to know if someone is from Hawaii. I don't think there is any other place in the world where people bond so much just because they are from the same place. This bond demonstrates Hawaii's unique culture of closeness and familiarity.

Places to see in ( Oahu - USA ) Kapiolani Park
Places to see in ( Oahu - USA ) Kapiolani Park
Queen Kapiʻolani Regional Park is the largest and second oldest public park in Hawaiʻi, located in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi on the east end of Waikīkī just beyond Kuhio Beach Park and the Waikiki residential neighborhood. The 300-acre (1.2 km2) park, named after Queen Kapiʻolani, the queen consort of King David Kalākaua, is home to the Waikiki Shell and the Honolulu Zoo.
Prior to being used as a public space, the area was a mix of swamp land and arid plain unsuitable for building. In the 1870s, Kalākaua was charged to find a permanent, dry course for horse racing. Since Waikiki was popular with wealthy racing fans, Kalākaua chose the unoccupied and dry plain at the foot of Diamond Head where the park now stands. On June 11, 1877, the park was dedicated as the first Hawaiian public space. Scotsman Archibald Scott Cleghorn was Vice-president and later president of the Kapiʻolani Park Association, a group of businessmen, who convinced Kalākaua to give them a 30-year lease for $1 per year. Cleghorn was a Hawaiian citizen married into Hawaiian Royalty. Cleghorn planned the park's landscaping, including the majestic ironwood trees. Money was raised with $50 shares in the association. Shareholders could lease a beachfront lot near the park, and many had cottages there by the 1880s.
A lease was granted to the Honolulu Cricket Club in 1893. Top cricket players from San Francisco's California Cricket Association played for local teams. During the 1893 overthrow of the Kingdom of Hawaii, most of these became privately owned, and most were later given back to the city or condemned. Now the park consists of open green space, lilyponds, the Honolulu Zoo and the Waikiki Shell entertainment venue.
After the overthrow, the land was conveyed to the Republic of Hawaii and managed by the Honolulu Park Commission. The legislation provided that the park be set aside permanently as a free public park and recreation ground, forbade the sale or lease of land in the park, and prohibited charging of any entrance fees. Since 1913, the park has been maintained by the City and County of Honolulu's Department of Parks & Recreation.
Besides the zoo and the Shell, the park includes tennis and basketball courts, soccer, baseball, lacrosse and rugby fields and an archery range. The park hosts many international lacrosse and rugby tournaments a year. Its bandstand serves as an entertainment venue. It is also a popular course for joggers who utilize its two-mile (3 km) circumference. The park also serves as the site, as both the starting and finish lines, of road races in Honolulu including the Honolulu Marathon.
Kapiʻolani park is also home to Honolulu Cricket Club, the only cricket club in the Hawaiian Islands. Founded in 1893, it is the oldest sporting club in the Pacific according to Guinness World Records. As Kapiʻolani Park continues south it becomes Kapiʻolani Beach Park, adjacent to Kuhio Beach and Waikiki Beach. The park itself also serves as a natural border between Waikiki and Diamond Head neighborhood.

Wet'n'Wild Hawaii is a Hawaiian water park, located in Kapolei on Oahu. The park occupies 25 acres of land and has 25 rides and attractions. It is currently the only water park in the state of Hawaii. It is one of seven water parks operating under the Wet'n'Wild brand globally.
On October 6, 1998, construction began for the 25-acre (10 ha) Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park.[2] The water park was the first venture by limited liability company, Waters of Kapolei.[3] Owned by dentist Jack Harrington and lawyer Brooks Cutter, Waters of Kapolei, LLC invested $14 million in the park.[4] The park officially opened on May 28, 1999.[5] In the park's first month of operation, it experienced 20% higher-than-expected attendance,[4] resulting in a total of 440,000 visitors in its first year of operation.[6] This saw the park add a new attraction just one year after opening.[6]
In May 2007, Wet'n'Wild Hawaii opened Island Adventure Golf, an 18-hole high-end miniature golf facility. The miniature golf course features lush tropical landscape, nine ADA-compliant holes, a putting green, surfboard hazards, water ways, waterfall, large ocean and beach area, mock fish and sea turtles, lava rock formations and coral reef displays.[7]
In March 2008, an agreement was announced in which the park would be sold to Village Roadshow Limited, making Wet'n'Wild Hawaii the Australian company's first theme park in the United States. The $27 million deal closed in May that year.[1][8][9][10][11] In early 2009, the company announced the park would open under its new name, Wet'n'Wild Hawaii.[3]
Village Roadshow's ownership of the park was short-lived. The park was sold to CNL Lifestyle Properties for an undisclosed sum in 2009.[3] Village Roadshow Theme Parks, however, continued to operate the park on a lease which concluded in November 2013.[12] Premier Parks, LLC will take over operations for the 2014 season.[12]

Halona Blowhole and Eternity Beach | South Shore Tour | Shaka Guide Oahu
The Halona Blowhole sits just before Sandy Beach when coming from Waikiki. It formed when a piece of the ceiling of an underwater cave collapsed. Now, when waves fill the cave with water, the pressure has nowhere to escape but through the hole. This causes water to shoot out of the hole in a pressurized mist, resembling a whale’s blowhole.
On days with particularly rough seas or wind, you can see water spray many feet in the air, just like a geyser!
There’s a convenient lookout you can pull into to park. From the lookout is a gorgeous view of Sandy’s beach, the blowhole, and Halona Cove.
Halona Cove was dubbed “Eternity Beach” because it was where a scene in From Here to Eternity (a 1950’s WWII movie) was filmed. There is a steep rocky decent to the beach for those who want to get down, so good luck and watch your step!
Shaka Guide’s South Shore Oahu Tour takes you to the Halona Blowhole, in addition to many other must see destinations!
