Located nort of Auckland, Shakespear Regional Park is at the tip of the Whangaparaoa Peninsula. The park is home to a number of walking tracks and is a great way to spend a few hours, taking in the fantastic views to the North and South of the peninsula. From the lookout track which will take you to the highest point in the park.

Hey Guys! This is the continuation of my last vlog! The day after we discovered the Waitakere Ranges, we took a drive to Shakespear Regional Park! It is a beautiful park and is free to public for exploring! It is also a nature reserve for Kiwi birds and other animals! This is definitely something you should visit while you are in Auckland!! It is completely FREE activity to take part in and a great way to spend the day! It is located about a 40 minute drive from the CBD of Auckland! I post weekly Vlogs every Wednesday! Shakespear Regional Park flop on the beach with a good book or walk across farmland and through native bush to panoramic views of the Hauraki Gulf and islands. The Okoromai Bay nearby is a favorite for Cocklers as the shallow sand beds can reveal hundreds if not thousands of these little delicacies at low tide. Any visitors are allowed to gather Cockles but there are limits of 50 per gatherer to help preserve the species and stock levels.

Shakespeare Regional Park is a nature park in the Auckland Region of New Zealand. It is located at the tip of the Whangaparaoa Peninsula, and is named after the Shakespeare family which bought the land in the 1880s from local Maori. The Park is home to three walkways, Heritage Trail, Lookout Track and Tiri Tiri Track,
