Sharon Temple - Sharon Ontario
The Temple is an open-air museum. It was built between 1825 and 1832 in Ontario Canada by a sect led by a former Quaker David Wilson. There is also a smaller building that is David Wilson's Study. The site was designated a National Historic Site in Canada in 1990. There are eight buildings on the property. The acoustics in the temple are designed so you can hear music and sermons perfectly from any point in the building. Constructed almost entirely of wood sound resonates perfectly through the building. The temple is located a thirty minute drive north of Toronto.

“The lyrics to ‘Grind You Down’ have significant meaning to myself and the members of The Elwins,” says singer Matthew Sweeney. “Mental illness health and the stigma surrounding it are very serious subject matters that can affect anyone. We are doing our best to address the topic, and trying to encourage dialogue, support or anything else we can to encourage people to seek assistance if they require it. Le temple Sharon est un haut lieu de l'histoire du Canada. Situé au nord de Toronto, c'est un des rares témoins qui ont échappé à l'urbanisation galopante. Bâti en 1835 par des Quakers venus des États-Unis, le temple Sharon est un petit bijou architectural qui fut construit selon des règles et des croyances bien précises.

On Saturday, October 4th the Connors Brothers experienced a spiritual presence during their recording session; and it was captured on video! At about 11:30pm whilst attempting to record their arrangement of The Maple Leaf Forever at the Sharon Temple there was a small interruption.
