MC Travelers spent an afternoon in Shelburne Farms in Vermont. Since it was before season, we were lucky to have free admission to explore and hike the grounds. In the season, Shelburne Farms is an education center that also offers tours of the grounds and inn.

Lunch Time With Mama Pig At Shelburne Farms in Shelburne, Vermont
Shelburne Farms is a National Historic Landmark located in Shelburne, Vermont. This no so little piggy is quietly feeding her young. This 1400 acre farm where Mama Pig as the kids call her in the video is an icon of the Localvore movement in Vermont.
Shelburne Farms & Burlington, VT Winter Guide 2020
Our final day in Burlington, Vermont was mostly spent at Shelburne Farms since many places are closed on Christmas Eve. I absolutely loved visiting the Shelburne Farms resident Swiss cows and sampling their farmstead cheddar cheese. Afterwards, we headed over to Lake Champlain Chocolate factory in Burlington, Vermont before heading back to the hotel for the evening.

The Ticonderoga At Shelburne Museum - June 2018
This is the steamboat Ticonderoga at the Shelburne Museum in Shelburne, Vermont. The ship was transported 2 miles from Lake Champlain to where it sits now. Very cool to visit, would recommend to anyone who happens to be in the area.

Ticonderoga At The Shelburne
An old steam boat on display at the Shelburne Museum in Vermont. Its not the same Ticonderoga that saw service on the waters of Lake George. This is a beautiful display and wish I could have been on it back when it was still in service.
