The 29th Annual Arts Alive Stage and Visual Arts Show. Produced through Artreach, Arts Alive presented it's yearly show on February 15th at the Sheldon Theatre.

Sheldon Theater performance by students of Minnesota State College Southeast (I'm an alumni). Band Blue Wing comprised of Keiko Tsuda (saxophone), Mark McGlich (Bass), Jenna Jablonski of Red Wing High School (vocals), Jake Smith (Guitar), Jeff Dorman (Drums), Kyle Martin (Piano). Jenna is in 9th grade, Keiko came to us from Japan, and Australia! Jake Smith is a Red Wing resident in the BIR program (BIR is Band Instrument Repair). Jake is also known to gig at the Lutheran Church in Red Wing (If you are a local, you will say which one!) Students come from all over the US and foreign countries to study Band Instrument Repair at our prestigious school in Red Wing, Minnesota.

Red Wing High School, Hiawatha Valley Family Beyond the Yellow Ribbon, and Minnesota State College Southeast hosted a Veterans Day Commemoration at Red Wing High School on Friday, November 9. 2017 Caravan Du Nord
We are pleased to announce the schedule for the 7th annual Caravan du Nord! Sponsored by The Current, the Caravan du Nord is a traveling showcase of Minnesota music made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund. It brings 18 bands and solo artists to six theater venues in Greater Minnesota for all-ages performances, workshops and community engagement. This year’s Caravan du Nord features Billboard-charting songwriters, soulful vocalists and beloved veterans of the Minnesota music scene, including Chastity Brown, Trailer Trash, Aby Wolf, Jeremy Messersmith, Dead Man Winter, PaviElle, Belfast Cowboys and more. The Green Room is a college musical all about 4 theater majors struggling to find their way to Broadway. John, Cliff, Anna and Divonne live out their complicated lives in the green room of their college theatre department. Often hilarious, at times heartwarming, this modern musical gives an authentic account of the struggles these four have in finding their place in the world.

An Improv comedy Showcase from Stevie Ray. After a year of learning communication skills through SKILLS FOR LIFE Improv games in Red Wing, MN, community members and Stevie Ray's professional Improv troupe took the stage to show what was learned. This project was part of a Minnesota State Arts Board's Partners in Participation grant.
