Huge fire breaks out in high-rise building in Shenyang city, Liaoning Province
A massive fire broke out in a high-rise tower in Shenyang city, NE China’s Liaoning Province on Tuesday afternoon. Witnesses said the fire started in the elevator shaft on the ground floor and in minutes reached the top of the building. Firefighters brought the blaze under control within about two hours. The building was in the final stages of construction and was not occupied. No casualties were reported.

中街，中国第一条商业步行街，中国十大著名商业街，全国首批百城万店无假货示范街，迄今为止中国内地最长的商业步行街。
它是沈阳最早形成的商业中心，1625年（明天启五年、后金天命十年）至1631年（明祟帧四年、后金天聪五年）后金将明朝所筑砖城进行改建扩建，按照中国历史上流传的“左祖右社、面朝后市”之说，将原来的“十”字型两条街改筑为“井”字型4条街，即今天的沈阳路、中街路、朝阳街、正阳街。 当时，中街路称四平街，东西两侧建有钟楼、鼓楼各一座。街长579.3米，宽11.7 米，由著名书法家李兴臣题词书写“中街” 二字，如今的中街已成为沈阳市的一条步行商业街，街道两旁店铺鳞次栉比，买卖兴隆，一派欣欣向荣之意！
沈阳中街是沈阳最早的商业街，有近400年历史（1625-2015），有着“东北第一街”的美誉，也是沈阳乃至中国第一条步行街。中街是沈阳历史悠久、交易繁华的商业区，自明清开设以来，距今已有三百八十余年。明末，辽东开原、广宁、抚顺的马市贸易繁荣，使位于三大马市中心沈阳的商品经济有了长足的发展。1625年，“大金”（后金）迁都沈阳，经济更趋繁荣，四平街（今中街）便形成了。吉顺丝房、老天合绸缎庄等大百货商店，多集中在街路的南北两侧；丰富多彩、琳琅满目的小商品行市(市场)，都散布在沿衔的胡同里 。
中街的发展史可以说是一部传奇。已成为沈阳繁荣发展的见证。明末，辽东开原、广宁、抚顺的马市贸易繁荣，使位于三大马市中心沈阳的商品经济有了长足的发展。1625年，“ 大金”迁都沈阳，将明朝所筑砖城进行改建扩建，按照中国历史上流传的“左祖右社、面朝后市”(即王宫之左是祖庙，王宫之右是社稷坛，王官正面朝南，王官后设市场)之说，将原来的“十”字型两条街改筑为“井”字型4条街：即今日的沈阳路、中街路、朝阳街、正阳街。 当时， 中街路称四平街，东西两侧建有钟楼、鼓楼各一座。从1636年清太宗定都盛京起开始计算，中街的历史距今已有近400年。从前清皇封御赐的荣耀，到今天遐迩闻名的繁华，中街见证了沈阳商业文明的发展历程。
张氏帅府，又称“大帅府”或“少帅府”，位于辽宁省沈阳市沈河区朝阳街少帅府巷46号，是张作霖及其长子张学良的官邸和私宅。
张氏帅府始建于民国三年（1914年）9月，总占地3.6万平方米，总建筑面积为2.76万平方米。 民国五年（1916年）张作霖正式入住，以后又不断扩建，逐步形成了由东院、中院、西院和院外建筑等四个部分组成的的建筑体系。各个建筑风格各异，有中国传统式、中西合璧式、罗马式、北欧式、日本式。主要有大青楼、小青楼、西院红楼群及赵四小姐楼等建筑。
20世纪后期，“张氏帅府”被国家列为全国优秀近代建筑群。1985年，沈阳市人民政府依法以“张氏帅府”称谓公布这一建筑群为市级文物保护单位。1988年，辽宁省政府也以“张氏帅府”名称公布其为省级文物保护单位。1996年，国务院以“张学良旧居”称谓公布其为第四批全国重点文物保护单位。 1998年，辽宁省在此设立“张学良旧居陈列馆”。 2002年更名为张氏帅府博物馆暨辽宁近现代史博物馆。
张氏帅府是东北地区保存最为完好的名人故居，2004年列为国家AAAA级景区。2017年12月2日，入选第二批中国20世纪建筑遗产名单。

Former residence museum of Zhang Xueliang (Marshal Zhang's Mansion / 张氏帅府), S Shuaifu Ln, Shenhe District (A short walk south from the Imperial Palace). This was the home of Zhang Zuolin and his son Zhang Xueliang during the end years of the Qing dynasty and the beginning of the Republic. Zhang became, with the fall of the Qing Emperor, the warlord in control of the northeast of China and for a short time was proclaimed president of China.
Marshal Zhang’s Mansion was built in 1914 with an area of 36,000 square meters. Courtyard style mixed oriental and western features. The typical Chinese courtyard has 74 rooms totally.
Ancient jadeware exhibited at Shenyang Palace Museum
Shenyang Palace Museum in northeastern China's Liaoning Province has staged an exhibition showcasing more than 100 pieces of jadeware from a museum in the central city of Wuhan.
Most of the exhibits date back at least hundreds of years ago, with some dating back to the Neolithic Age.
Shenyang Palace Museum was the imperial palace of three Qing emperors. Some 200,000 imperial items and books were transferred here from Beijing during the Qing Dynasty.

Terrifying fire rips through a 24-storey tower block in China
A huge fire ripped through a 25-story tower in China’s northeastern city of Shenyang. While the inferno promptly climbed up the building, triggering a massive firefighter response, no one was apparently hurt in the blaze.
According to Shenyang Fire Brigade, the fire started at around 9:15pm local time in the SR International New City in the city's Hunnan District.
The fire broke out on the fourth floor of the residential building in the Hunnan district of the city, late on Monday. The blaze rapidly spread to the top floor as the building’s insulation caught fire.
Over 200 firefighters and 47 fire engines were dispatched to the scene in an attempt to curb the blaze. Footage from the scene shows flaming insulation pieces falling off the tower and dropping onto the nearby lower buildings.
It took the emergency workers some three hours to put out the fire. So far, no casualties have been reported. That might change, however, given the scale of the blaze and the size of the building.

심양 소방대에 따르면 화재는 도시의 훈난 지구 SR 국제 신도시에서 현지 시간으로 오후 9시 15 분경에 시작되었다.
월요일 늦게 도시의 훈난 지구에 있는 주거용 건물의 4 층에서 화재가 발생했습니다. 건물의 단열재에 불이 붙으면 서 불꽃이 빠르게 최상층으로 퍼졌습니다.
불꽃을 막기 위해 200 명 이상의 소방관과 47 대의 소방차가 현장으로 파견되었습니다. 현장에서 나온 영상은 타워에서 떨어지는 단열재 조각을 보여주고 근처의 낮은 건물로 떨어지고 있음을 보여줍니다.
화재를 진압하기 위해 응급 요원들이 약 3 시간이 걸렸습니다. 지금까지 사상자는 보도되지 않았다. 그러나 불꽃의 규모와 건물의 크기에 따라 변경 될 수 있습니다.

A fire broke out in a residential tower block in Shenyang, the capital of the north-eastern Liaoning Province, on Monday.
The blaze was captured on a mobile phone by an onlooker and later posted on social media.
According to the local authorities, the fire started at around 21:15 local time (13:15 GMT). Firefighters managed to extinguish the flames a little over two hours later.
No casualties were reported so far.

Shenyang International Finance Center
The Shenyang International Finance Center will be an 89-story, 420-meter tall Class A office building designed as the city's tallest with world class standards of performance, efficiency and life safety. It will be the iconic landmark for a larger retail, hotel and service apartment complex slated to be the region's largest.
The total floor area for the tower is 245,000 sq. meters, comprised of 79 office floors, each having approximately 2,800 sq. meters of gross floor area with lease spans of 14 meters. Office floors are designed for flexibility and interfloor connectivity for single or multi-tenancies. Raised flooring and individual mechanical rooms located within the core ensure that tenants will enjoy the features and conveniences of a Class A international standard office building.
Office floors will have ceiling heights of 2.80 meters and floor-to-ceiling silver-reflective glass installed with triple glazed window units for sound isolation and environmental comfort. Eighteen trading floors with up to 4.20 meter ceiling heights are distributed throughout the tower. The top floors will contain an observation level and restaurant with direct dedicated shuttle lifts accessible from the ground floor
The tower is a composite structural system where the diagonal members of a perimeter braced frame are part of a wind and gravity system that work in conjunction with the central services core, significantly contributing to the building's stiffness. At 15 story intervals the diagonals are connected to multi-story horizontal trusses, or belts, that effectively reduce the tower to a series of 6 smaller and more conventionally engineered buildings. Each stack is served by its own elevator bank and exit stairs but is functionally interconnected to the rest of the building.
The tower is designed to attain instant iconic status in Shenyang with its distinctive form, height and geometry. The aluminum and glass curtain wall with its unique diagonal bracing will be the signature feature conveying its mega-structure concept directly and proudly. At night these diagonals are delineated in white light drawing the eye to its pinnacle a full 420 meters above ground level while the four deeply recessed corners with their alternating shelves will become vertical beacons aiming upward to the clouds.
At holidays and during special events embedded LED lights integrated into the curtain wall will be capable of creating an unlimited variety of festival effects in still or moving images in any color or intensity.
