Hong Kong Buses - Tuen Mun 屯門, Lung Kwu Tan 龍鼓灘 and Tsuen Wan 荃灣
This video takes up where my Yuen Long video left off. It starts with a visit to KMB's garage and overhaul works and moves to Tuen Mun central bus station, recently redeveloped. The new town is visually dreary, but the new shopping centre over the bus station is opulent inside. There follows a ride on MTR's K52 service to Lung Kwu Tan on 10.6m 78-seat Dennis Trident 725. This bus was new to NWFB in 1999 (note the colour of the handrails) as their 1633 and was sold, with most of the batch of 60, to KCRC in 2004. With the shotgun wedding of KCRC and MTR in 2007, it passed to the MTR bus division, where it has served longer than with its original owner.
Lung Kwu Tan is the most westerly point you can reach by bus in the mainland New Territories. Nestling between the country's two major power stations, it's not a very pretty spot, but has nice views over the South China Sea.
We stop on the way back to film China Light and Power buses leaving Castle Point Power Station at about 5:20 pm. The buses are operated by Citybus, who have substituted some of their own vehicles on this occasion.
We travel on KMB's 59M service from Tuen Mun Ferry Pier to Tsuen Wan, arriving at dusk. With thousands of people arriving by train from Hong Kong every few minutes, it's an incredibly busy place! Amongst other things, we see some Park Island Dennis Darts in action, before returning home on the MTR Tsuen Wan Line.
Filmed on 29th April 2014.

World's First Unborn Baby of Sperm Whale Found in South China
An autopsy conducted Thursday on a sperm whale that died after being stranded in southern China's Guangdong Province has found that the whale was pregnant, according to marine life experts.
The 2-meters-long embryo weighs 110.5 kilograms, and the mother is nearly 11-meters-long and weighs more than 14 tonnes.
It is the first unborn baby of sperm whale found in the world, said Tong Shenhan, head of the land and marine life research institute of Xiamen city.
Research is underway to determine the precise cause of death. Experts with the Chinese Academy of Sciences detected a failure in the whale's sonar system.
On Sunday morning, fishery authorities in Shenzhen city received a report of an adult whale trapped in fishing nets in waters off Daya Bay.
Though the whale was freed from the nets soon by rescuers, it was still reluctant to leave and the rescuers' efforts to guide it to the deep sea failed as it still lingered in the adjacent waters of Daya Bay on Tuesday morning.
Fishery departments and several organizations then called both domestic and international related marine environment protection organizations for help and prepared fresh squid to feed the whale before the next rescue plan can be outlined.
But it was then confirmed to have been stranded near a wharf Tuesday afternoon and died Wednesday.

My name is Dennis. In 2009, I opened this channel to record or document this city. I know something is being changed in next decade(s), or I felt the change have began since 2003, no later in 2046. I want to, at least, save some kind of city life in video form instead of taken photo or written in words. I strongly believe that motion picture and sound recording are much better way to preserve and present in the future when young generation want to get know of Hong Kong.
In May of 2018, I wrote the following statement in below:
.....................................................................................
Hi everyone, thank you for supporting me in fulfilling my childhood dream of making videos.
My parents had always taken a tolerant attitude toward my “capricious”: whether my work is feasible and sustainable... and they never complained about it.
As my father just passed away in May, I am left with no choice but to give up my video making venture.
In Hong Kong where the cost of living is sky high, youtube video making is simply not sustainable by google adsense alone. The revenue produced is way too insufficient for affording a domestic helper, and I must look after my mom all by myself - this is why I must stay very close to her at all times.
Unless my revenue is closed to market rate, or my income can cover a domestic helper, otherwise I can hardly justify any video-related works.
Therefore, from now on everything video will be postponed in terms of year(s).
Thank you, and hope to see you all again in the future.
..............................................................
Because I am the only son of my mother in Hong Kong, and I have to take care of her at home. I almost give up this channel because of high consumption of time and living cost. But I found some extra time.
I live in Fanling, north part of New Territories, so it will include my showtime of traveling back and forth. Because of home care to my old mother, there will be no time other than 9:00 to 16:00 because my mother is staying at the senior daycare center, so before and after that, I will NOT able to do filming.
I understand most of you are looking for high quality of video, e.g. 4K or 8K. But hardware is so important at this post-production, that is, the higher quality video, the higher powerful computer to render video. In recently, I solved matter by paid for PowerDirector apps to make 4K on my Pocophone F1, 1 hour of 4K video = 2 hour to make, besides, the convert 4K file time is around 24 hours......
I will continue to run this channel as long as the time is fit-on-me or I don't see any kind of video job could fit me.
I hope this is clear to everyone.
