Awesome views at the current state of construction of the Celebrity EDGE (Celebrity Cruises) in March 2018 at the shipyard STX France in Saint-Nazaire (France). The Celebrity EDGE is the type ship of a new class of cruise ships and should have a size of around 129,500 GT. The delivery of the finished Celebrity EDGE is planned by STX France to Celebrity Cruises in November 2018. In 2020, a sister ship will be delivered with the Celebrity BEYOND. Two more ships of this class are ordered with deliveries for 2021 and 2022.

A series of suites, chic restaurants and many Jacuzzis, nothing was left to chance in the very luxurious Celebrity Edge , the new liner offered by the Royal Caribbean. The 306 meter long vessel has a capacity of 2,900 passengers and 1320 crew members.

Chantiers de L'Atlantique delivered MSC Bellissima to MSC Cruises on February 27, 2019. That evening, MSC sailed the ship out of the Saint-Nazaire (France) shipyard for Southampton as shown in the nighttime aerial footage.

Harmony of the Seas : Full construction time-lapse by STX France
Harmony of the Seas - the biggest cruise ship ever made. The modern marvel of maritime travel has all the fun and satisfaction that every passenger needs. Here is the full timelapse of construction, starting from the first piece of steel, until June 2015 float out.
Along being the biggest ship in Oasis class, Harmony has 5 more things than her sister ships:
1. Water slides
2. Splashaway Bay water park
3. Ultimate Abyss
4. Two story Wonderland restaurant
5. First Oasis class ship to get a Bionic Bar
Royal Caribbean's Harmony of the Seas is its third Oasis-class cruiser and and its being built at STX France shipyards; scheduled to launch in April 2016. Its first trip will be from Barcelona to Rome but ship will also stop in London and Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in the US.
With a gross tonnage of 226,000, a length of 1,187 feet and maximum cruising speed of 23 knots, the Harmony will be slightly larger and more fuel efficient than its sister ships the Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas.

France: Giant Symphony of the Seas cruise ship nears completion
Symphony of the Seas, the soon-to-be world's largest cruise ship, will be delivered to American shipowner Royal Caribbean Cruises on March 23 by STX France shipyard in St. Nazaire. The 1.2 billion euro ship, which measures 362 metres long and 66 metres wide and weighs some 230,000 tonnes, will be able to accommodate around 8,000 passengers.
