Since 1994, the Shun Ye Museum of Formosan Aborigines has held an annual exhibition where a community showcases its interpretation of its own culture. Now in its 13th year, the museum organize an exhibition of the largest tatala, or indigenous canoe, ever built by Tao living in Taitung County's Iraralay Community.
