Wikipedia schreibt: Der Geschichtspark Si Thep umfasst die Ruinen und Grundmauern der Siedlung Si Thep aus der Dvaravati-Zeit in der Nordregion von Thailand.
Die Stadt wurde wahrscheinlich schon im 5. Jahrhundert gegründet.
Ich war ca. 1 Stunde auf dem Gelände und habe nur einen kleinen Teil gesehen, den ich auch gefilmt habe. Irgendwer schreibt im Internet, das man dort nicht fotografieren darf. Stimmt so nicht, denn ich habe nicht mit versteckter Kamera gefilmt, bin sogar von den Sicherheitskräften darauf hingewiesen worden, wo sich Interessantes befindet. Es gibt ein kleinen Bus, mit dem man auf dem Gelände herumgefahren wird, Ist kurz vor Ende zu sehen. Die meisten Besucher sind ca 2 Stunden vor Ort. Die Anlage ist sauber und gepflegt. Es gibt auch öffentliche Toiletten, die von außen einen sauberen Eindruck erweckten. Viele Besucher waren nicht dort, was mir das Filmen erleichterte.
Wer sich für thailändische Geschichte interessiert, für den ist die Anlage bestimmt interssant.
Einziger Wermutstropfen, der Farangbonus. Dieses staatliche Abzocke!
Ich weiß hätte ja nicht reingehen brauchen. Trotzdem mußte ich das jetzt los werden.
