These are the easiest waterfall hikes at Silver Falls State Park. Perfect for those who don't have the time, ability, or desire to hike the Trail of Ten Falls. These hikes range from NO hike at all, to 2 miles roundtrip.

We lived in Oregon for a decade and yet this was our first visit to this gorgeous state park. If you love waterfalls, hiking, and lush greenery you've got to check this place out. You can even walk behind several of the waterfalls! If you're able to visit in the late winter or early spring, you should be able to see even more impressive water flows.

Silver Falls to I-5 - Oregon 214, Aumsville, Turner Road Trip!
This drive begins in Silver Falls State Park, Oregon, and heads west, part of the time on Oregon 214, through Aumsville and Turner, before arriving at Interstate 5 for the drive south.

Silver Falls, Oregon--South Falls Day Trip (Part 1 of 2)
Here is a video on our recent trip to Silver Falls State Park in Sublimity, OR. It was a beautiful experience with perfect weather...so I'm sharing it with you all!
Silver Falls State Park is one of those places you must visit if you are in Oregon. The park itself is 9200 acres of pristine Oregon Cascade Mountain foothill beauty with day use facilities and camping open year round. The Trail of Ten Falls (located in the heart of the park) is a nearly 9 mile loop of breathtaking waterfalls and winding creek passages through the forest floor.
This particular video is of the South Falls loop, which is a quick 1.1 mile loop giving great 360 degree views of the 177ft waterfall. Bring good shoes, as the trail is perpetually in a wet or at least dampened state. And be prepared to get misted when walking near the falls...so a jacket is recommended.

On March 24, 2018 I took my brother and sister hiking in Southern Oregon. We hit up three awesome waterfall hikes, Fern Creek Falls, Susan Creek Falls and Fall Creek Falls, totaling in 5.5 miles for the day.
