Best Malaysia Street Food in Penang Guide including Georgetown Penang: (0:22-0:27)
1. Bee Hwa Cafe (0:28-1:31)
If you're looking for some delicious halal food in Penang Georgetown, Bee Hwa Cafe's well-loved Char Kuey Teow (CKT) is a must try.
Order a plate of the special CKT, and you’ll get savory crabsticks and fishballs added to it.
2. A1 Buah Berangan (1:32-2:05)
Down the road from Bee Hwa Cafe on Jalan Penang is A1 Buah Berangan (or roasted chestnuts). You'll understand why the stall has been open in Penang for 15 years the moment you crack open a chestnut and pop one into your mouth.
3. Hameed Pata Mee Sotong (2:06-3:21)
Located at Fort Cornwallis Food Court in Esplanade Park, Hameed Pata Mee Sotong serves up platefuls of steaming hot mee sotong, a popular Penang street food in Malaysia that consist of a spicy noodle dish doused in cuttlefish sambal. A small plate of it costs RM5 while a bigger serving costs RM7.
Also available at the Georgetown Penang food court is a refreshing glass of coconut shake. Blended with homemade coconut ice cream, the creamy and sweet beverage blends perfectly with your mee sotong.
4. Apom Balik (3:22-4:10)
Located at the front of the post office on Lebuh Downing, Apom Balik is a popular Malaysian street food stall that sells delicious apam balik.
The cart is open from 12pm - 6pm every day, where you can order additional fillings such as peanut butter or chocolate.
5. Street Grill Burger Bakar (4:11-5:06)
An asian street food you don't want to miss, this street stall on Jalan Sungai Pinang, which offers homemade chargrilled burgers overflowing with melted mozzarella cheese and a special sauce.
The stall is open from 6.30pm - 12am, but we recommend that you head there early before the crowd gathers.
6. Deen Maju (5:07-7:18)
A Penang Georgetown street food staple, you can’t say you’ve eaten the best of Penang’s food without having tried nasi kandar, so head to Jalan Gurdwara for one of the island’s best nasi kandar shops.
Choose from a wide array of dishes to eat with your rice, from the flavorful fish roe curry to the crunchy 15-spice fried chicken, which are both specialties at Deen Maju.
7. Argyll Road Roti Canai (7:19-8:31)
Dating back to 1955, Argyll Road Roti Canai is one of George Town’s oldest eateries. From its beginnings as a tiny Penang street stall, it has since expanded to a proper shophouse.
The Malaysian breakfast staple is served drenched in a delicious curry of your choice, such as chicken, beef or mutton.
8. Nasi Melayu Lidiana (8:32-10:24)
Tucked in the Tanjung Bungah Food Court, this homely asian food eatery has been in operation for over 40 years. You’ll be spoiled for choice as you can pick from a wide range of dishes to pile on your plate of rice.
Must-try dishes are chicken cooked in soy sauce (ayam kicap) and the sambal-stuffed grilled pomfret.
9. Kambing Bakaq Tuk Hang (10:25-11:39)
Located on the corner of Hilir Paya Terubong in Relau, Kambing Bakaq Tuk Hang specializes in delicious and savory grilled lamb. Dunk a chunk of their honey-glazed lamb in the special homemade BBQ sauce for the best experience. A must-try food in Penang.
Each portion of lamb costs RM12 (small), RM15 (medium) and RM20 (large).
If you're a fan of chicken, you can also order chicken from e’Corner, the restaurant next door that has some of the best grilled chicken around.
10. Penang Road Famous Teochew Chendul (11:40-12:45)
A well-loved food in Penang, there’s nothing better than downing a bowl of icy, sweet cendol after a walk around George Town. If that’s what you’re after, then make a beeline for Penang Road Famous Teochew Chendul, located on Keng Kwee Street.
11. Project Nasi Lemak Box (12:46-14:15)
A popular Malaysia street food in Penang, check out Project Nasi Lemak Box.
Located at Padang Kota Lama, it’s relatively new compared to many of the veterans on this list. They use natural dye from butterfly pea flowers to give their nasi lemak a pretty purple-blue color, similar to nasi kerabu. Choose your own sides such as fried chicken, fried fish and assam prawns.
For a true high-end indulgence Malaysia street food, order the nasi lemak lobster (RM79), served with a succulent lobster smothered in cheese and blow-torched to crispy perfection.

PENANG STREET FOOD TOUR MALAYSIA | Georgetown Travel Vlog 087, 2017
Malaysia is known for it's amazing food and Penang is possibly the heart of that! So we decided to do a Penang Street Food Tour and get some local hawker food in Georgetown with 'Food Tour Malaysia' ⬇ Click 'Show More' to expand ⬇
This day in Penang was all thanks to Food Tour Malaysia, check them out here if you'd like to do a similar tour - they were awesome:
Trying Malaysian food as been really interesting as we travel, taking the food tour was actually the coolest way we could have done it. We go to hawker markets and eat at street food stalls ourselves but you never really learn anything or understand the story behind it. Our tour guide, Kevin, was awesome and as we made our way around Penang we learnt a lot about Malaysian history unique to Georgetown - it was a cool way to travel.
Thanks for watching this vlog, if you do come to Malaysia be sure to reach out to these guys and look into a Penang street food tour.

Join us on this video to experience about this rather small business, but manage to pull a crowd especially The Locals, who really understand about the authenticity and good in the food, where they call it the Island Pride, food pride, Penang.

STREET ART & CHEW JETTY - GEORGETOWN, PENANG | Malaysia Travel Vlog 088, 2017
Coming to Malaysia we didnt expect Penang Street Art to be the coolest street art we've ever seen, right here in Georgetown! Chew Jetty was also on todays list - we share them both in this vlog. ⬇ Click 'Show More' to expand ⬇
Georgetown is such a cool spot, the street art is all pretty close in a bunch but can be found all round the streets of Penang as well as in some of the Art Gallery spots. This vlog was filmed early November 2017, just before the storms hit :(
If you're also spending some of your Malaysia trip down in Penang be sure to check out Chew Jetty - it's a little touristy but worth having a look around. Chew Jetty is probably one of the most popular spots to visit, but you can also go a bit further down and see Tan Jetty which is much less busy.
All in all, if you visit Penang be sure to check out the street art and Chew Jetty.

Amazing MALAYSIA STREET FOOD in Melaka- KUIH KERIA, COCONUT SHAKE, NASI LEMAK and more!

When in Melaka there are a number of things you have to tick off your MELAKA EATS list. Today we embark on a food hunting adventure and visit a few spots not far from Melaka town to find some Melaka famous food. Get ready for a huge Malaysia street food tour!
Restoran Ming Huat
This kopitiam houses a number of stalls and is a local favourite. One of our subscribers recommends it to us and suggests it’s a living embodiment of the concept of muhibbah, where people of different cultures, races and religions live and work side by side harmoniously, respectful of each other’s backgrounds. There is a Malay nasi lemak stall, an Indian Muslim stall and a Chinese stall in this kopitiam and it’s customers are from all different backgrounds. It really is the perfect example of muhibbah. We eat nasi lemak with a side of chicken rendang and sample mee kahwin a mash up of mamak rohak and mee rebus.
Aunty Koh Cendol
Aunty Koh’s cendol is some of the most famous in Melaka. Her stall is only open on Saturday and Sundays from 11:30am onwards. We arrive at 11:30am and by 12:00pm Aunty Koh has sold out!! What makes her cendol so special? The coconut milk. Aunty Koh grates and presses around 30 coconuts from around 1:00am the night before she opens. Fresh is an understatement!
Klebang Original Coconut Shake
Another must eat/drink in Melaka is the Klebang coconut shake. This iced concoction is made up of ice, coconut milk, coconut water and coconut flesh and is topped with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream. Delicious!
Kuih Keria Antarabangsa
Our final stop is Kuih Keria Antarabangsa. These sweet potato doughnuts are a crowd favourite and when they open at 1:00pm we guarantee there’ll already be a line of about 20 deep! Cooked sweet potato is mashed up with flour, deep fried and then covered in a gula melaka syrup. Mouth watering!
Check our Melaka food playlist for more videos:

Best Chinese Chicken Rice in Bukit Mertajam, Malaysia - with 38 subtitles
After coming back from heavy traffic we decided to eat because it was almost 3:30 PM and I didn't have my proper breakfast. That time I thought whatever I will get defiantly I am gonna eat that but luckily this chicken rice was super delicious. I tried chicken rice once before this but that was terrific experience for me because the taste was pathetic and the chicken was too smelly. But this place It was super delicious. Must try once.

Recently I went to Asia and challenged myself a lot! Just awesome experience!
Malaysia is so modern, international, developed and friendly country! Because I traveled basically by myself, I guess learned some tips.
How did it happen? I came to Malaysia for an AIESEC program ( which is really good one! I supposed to teach English for young students during 2 months. I got experience in many areas of my life, and with this video, I would like to share with you my feelings!
It's awesome. I really wish you more adventures, guys!
I'm happy to be a friend with you! Subscribe to this channel, and you will find a new journey!
I change locations often, but I'm always here:
Friendmaly Makan Time | Mamak Abu Dhabi
After the morning workout, we decided to indulge in some Malaysian food! Kind of defeat the purpose of working out, but I believe in you Eat To Train (and not Train hard so that you can Eat).
Mamak is a Malaysian restaurant franchise that is located at an Adnoc petrol station at Yas Island. It is along Saadiyat highway, towards AUH airport direction. We have to park on the gravel as it is opposite direction from where we were. To make the actual correct direction would mean driving along the highway for about 10mins before making a U-turn. Too much effort.
After the yummy breakfast, we headed back home and rest. I have decided to edit my last episode of Langkawi as it is so overdue. I am saying that I am still new in editing because, technically I am. I started editing on Feb 10th, and it is only July now. 5 months. Give face lah, probation also 6 months right?
We wanted to head out for dinner, but Boo had a sudden sneezing frenzy, so being the #bestestwifeintheworld that I am, I have decided to cook. And this time, I made Chik Kut Teh. It is a chinese herbal soup with some chicken pieces. The packet of herbs is bought from Malaysia and we cook this once every month or so, because it just feels so freaking healthy!
So yeah, thanks again for spending some time watching this video (and also reading this little blog. Don’t forget to hit the Like button if you enjoyed this vlog. And if you are new to my channel, click on Subscribe for more videos like this!
