Nice place to hangout

Very nice place It is a beautiful check dam across the river Mahi at Sindhrot Village. There is a small check dam there on river Mahisagar. can click some good photographs. its a dam purposefully but constructed in such a way that we can go inside and bath carefully and its a great experience

This is a beautiful check dam on Mahi river at Sindhrot Village, located ~10 km from city. This check dam is built for water conservation purpose, but nowadays youngster and villagers visit this place as picnic.

About Sindhrot Dam:
This is actually a check dam on Mahi river at Sindhrot Village,
About 12 to 15 km from Baroda Railway Station.
This check dam is built for water conservation and irrigation purpose, But because of its scenic beauty has become a popular tourist attraction as well.
Early morning sunrise is beautiful here and one can spot lot of variety of birds. Don't forget to carry a pair of socks because surface on dam is slippery and socks will give you good grip.
Good place for half a day picnic.

Sindhrot dam is a awesome place where you can spend lovely moment with nature like water, chak dame etc.. Water of Mahi river reaches to Baroda and adjoining villages. it is also help near by village to get drinking water. By constructing Check Dam not only water shortage overcomes but a good picnic spot also created. Though there is a hazard also. it’s good place to see the nature gift.
