TUCSON ARIZONA - DOWNTOWN RENAISSANCE
Downtown Tucson is experiencing a renaissance.
According to SUN CORRIDOR: Over the past nine years, Downtown Tucson has experienced a miraculous economic revitalization with unprecedented levels of investment, hundreds of new businesses, and thousands of new jobs resulting in a thriving Downtown environment. Geographically located in the heart of the city, Downtown Tucson has transformed itself from a government center to the region’s entertainment hub. There is an increasing variety of restaurants, nightlife and cultural arts venues, and scores of major events that attract more than a million people annually.
Since 2008, Downtown business has shown steady growth and diversification. Commercial investments have led to new construction and renovations to a number of historic buildings, creating unique spaces for street-level businesses and office-based firms. New construction, primarily located near the Sun Link modern streetcar line, has re-established Downtown as a magnet for real estate development, and has been a major contributor to Tucson’s economy, Sun Link, also known as the Tucson Streetcar, is an exciting new development. It is a single-line streetcar system in Tucson, Arizona, United States, that began service in July 2014 The system's 3.9-mile (6.3 km) route connects the Arizona Health Sciences Center (including University Medical Center), the University of Arizona campus, the Main Gate and 4th Avenue shopping and entertainment districts, downtown Tucson, the Tucson Convention Center, and the Mercado District under development west of Interstate 10.[ The streetcar project's overall cost of $196 million was met through a combination of local funding sources and federal grants.[9][10] The streetcar shares a common payment system with the Sun Tran regional bus .

ABOUT THIS FEED:
Ashland, VA, in Central Virginia, is located on the CSX RF&P Subdivision, the former Richmond, Fredericksburg & Potomac Railroad, and is about 15 miles north of Richmond. The town gets over 20 Amtrak passenger trains and 20-25+ CSX freight trains daily. It’s a designated quiet zone, but the crew can use the horns at their discretion. The maximum speed for trains passing through the town's center is 35 miles per hour (MPH).
There are 3 cameras available. The default camera is an Axis 360 located on top of the Visitor’s Center (train station), and 2 static cameras facing North and South on the other side of the intersection. Desktop users can use the suitcase icon at the bottom of the video to toggle between cams. For other devices, you can access the static cams with the links above.
See Tiny Tim’s Trains and Toys Store on the south cam? It's awesome, and worth a visit. Tell Suzanne and crew we said hello!
There is no ATCS layout (and no server coverage) available for the RF&P Sub, as it does not use radio code line (RCL) for switch-and-signal control (RCL is essential for ATCS availability).
There is a radio feed available, listening to the CSX RF&P Sub (BD dispatcher) and Richmond Terminal (FB dispatcher) channels, as well as the Buckingham Branch Railroad's (BBRR) Piedmont Sub channel (which crosses the RF&P Sub at a diamond in Doswell, to the north of Ashland):
A second radio feed providing the Richmond Terminal channel, as well as those for both the North End and Bellwood Subs, can be found here (select the Richmond Area Stream):

Gila Monster Slide
Gila Monster Slide in Carefree, Arizona. It's really cute.
Gila Pronunciation: H EE - l uh
A little about real Gila Monsters:
The Gila monster is a stout-bodied lizard that grows 18 to 24 inches in length. It has black, orange, pink or yellow broken blotches, bars and spots, with bands extending onto its blunt tail. Its face is black, and it has small, bead-like scales across its back. It is named for the Gila River Basin of the southwestern United States.
The Gila monster is one of only two species of venomous lizards; both are of the family Helodermatidae and both are similar in appearance and habits. Its venomous cousin, the Mexican beaded lizard (Heloderma horridum), is slightly larger and darker.
Most of the Gila monster's teeth have two grooves that conduct its venom, a nerve toxin, from glands in the lower jaw. The toxin is not injected like that of the snake, but flows into the wound as the lizard chews on its victim. While the bite can overpower predators and prey, it is rarely fatal to humans.
There are two subspecies of Gila monsters in the deserts of the Southwest:
H.s. suspectum (reticulate) resides primarily in the Sonoran and Chihuahuan deserts. Adults are mottled and blotched.
H.s. cinctum (banded) resides primarily in the Mojave Desert. Adults have a broad double crossband.
Range
Mojave, Sonoran and Chihuahuan deserts of extreme southwestern Utah, southern Nevada, southeastern California, Arizona and southwestern New Mexico into Mexico.
Habitat
Desert and semiarid regions of gravelly and sandy soils with shrubs. Found under rocks, in burrows of other animals and in holes it digs itself.

Arizona Travel Destination & Attractions | Visit Bisbee city in Cochise Park Show
Bisbee is a city in Cochise County, Arizona, United States, 92 miles (148 km) southeast of Tucson. According to the 2010 census, the population of the city was 5,575.[1] The city is the county seat of Cochise County
Bisbee was founded as a copper, gold, and silver mining town in 1880, and named in honor of Judge DeWitt Bisbee, one of the financial backers of the adjacent Copper Queen Mine.
In 1929, the county seat was moved from Tombstone to Bisbee, where it remains.
Mining in the Mule Mountains proved quite successful: in the early 20th century the population of Bisbee soared. Incorporated in 1902, by 1910 its population had swelled to 9,019, and it sported a constellation of suburbs, including Warren, Lowell, and San Jose, some of which had been founded on their own (ultimately less successful) mines. In 1917, open-pit mining was successfully introduced to meet the copper demand during World War I, More Info
