In London's West End, this 5-star luxury hotel is in a beautifully preserved Victorian building. It boasts a luxurious on-site spa, spacious rooms, and an award-winning brasserie restaurant.
On the corner of Pall Mall and Waterloo Place, Sofitel London St James is a 15 minute walk from Buckingham Palace. Piccadilly Circus and Charing Cross Station are a 5 minute walk away. St James’s Park is just 1,000 feet from the hotel.
Each elegant room boasts an iPod dock and LCD interactive TV. Bathrooms feature walk-in showers, bathrobes and slippers, and luxury toiletries. Some rooms include fantastic London views.

One whole year today with Kay??? Bloody hell that feels mad quick.
Honestly it feels at the very least like 3 years we've been together lol.
But that's a good thing.. It's been a great year..
Which has been well needed after last year.. Which was my worst year ever. Kay has been a major highlight since I met her. Things just get better and better.. I hope we can continue this honey moon period on forever.. I don't see it stopping.

A Luxurious Spa Day at Spa Verta with Red Letter Days
Relax and unwind with a luxurious and revitalising day at the award winning Spa Verta:
Afternoon Tea at Sofitel St James, London
On 25th June, I headed to St James, London SW1 to enjoy Afternoon Tea at The Balcon Restaurant in the Sofitel St James Hotel. The Tea was a prize from The Mayhew Animal Home as I was their top fundraiser for Abseil for The Animals back in April (click here: to see a video of my abseil experience - the highest freefall abseil in the UK!) I raised over £1200 for The Mayhew by doing the abseil which to me was an amazing achievement in itself for a charity I feel so passionately about, so to be treated to something so lovely as well was so special!
We had the classic Afternoon Tea - fingers sandwiches (salmon, pastrami, tomato and mozzarella egg mayonnaise), french patisserie (matcha and pistachio, lemon curd, coffee eclair and almond tart) and a selection of scones with jam and cream. We both enjoyed a pot of tea and spent a relaxing afternoon in the light and high-ceilinged Balcon. The Afternoon Tea normally costs £28 per person, or £31 with a glass of champagne as well. There is also an option to have free flowing champagne which would be a perfect treat for a special occasion or hen do!
