Our missionary team decided to climb Sokehs Rock, a landmark of Pohnpei and high place where we took communion together and declared freedom through Jesus Christ over Pohnpei, Micronesia and the world.

Sokeh's Rock in Pohnpei State
This was a video taken by my brother, Mann Ed, during his vacation in Pohnpei State in January 2008. The big rock mountain you can see is called The Sokeh's Rock. Pohnpei State is one of the 4 island states that makes up the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM). The other states are Kosrae, Chuuk, and Yap. Pohnpei is the capital of the FSM, which I consider to be my hometown since that's where I grew up as a kid. Pohnpei is an island in the Federated States of Micronesia, in the western Pacific Ocean. It has reefs and a mountainous, jungle-covered interior. At Nan Madol, on the east coast, ancient ruins include basalt temples and burial vaults. The Kepirohi Waterfall tumbles over large rocks. Outside the town of Kolonia, old Japanese Army guns sit near Sokehs Rock, an imposing cliff. Offshore, Palikir Pass has surf breaks.
The interior of Pohnpei Island is considered to be one of wettest place on the planet.
