This is the official Veteran's cemetery of the US Veterans administration in South Florida. I have found the staff to be kind, polite and very professional. It is a beautiful rural location and is well maintained.
Some detailed information about the South Florida VA National Cemetery is located below:
If you need clergy aka a chaplain, pastor or minister for a burial memorial service at the VA National Cemetery there you can call:
Elder Jack @ 561-533-5753 or Chaplain Bob @ 561-964-5036 -- They can assist you in picking an appropriate memorial service for your family member. They can perform the entire service or assist you in choosing your own. They are not employees of the VA and are volunteers as they are not compensated by the cemetery in any way.
Sometimes a memorial is also performed by a priest or rabbi - but Jack is spiritual and Bob is Christian non-denominational. Bob is available with only a few hours notice on most occasions.
We highly recommend:

This is beautiful cemetery is located in Southern Florida in the Southeast part of the state in Palm Beach County. It is off of State Rd 7 or US highway 441 (same road) near Wellington, Fl. It is between Lantana Rd and Hypoluxo rd on the west side of the highway.
The property and grounds were originally farmland and is rural in the immediate area. It is close to the Wellington mall and many stores and restaurants. People often have lunch after attending the memorial services and having buried their family.
The mailing address says it is in Lake Worth, but it is basically Wellington. It first opened for burials in 2007 and was dedicated and formally opened in 2008. It is available for any member of the US military services that were honorably discharged from the US Army, Navy, Coast Guard, Marines and Air Force.

they are closed on all national federal holidays.

This is one of the newest VA cemeteries in the US national system and is the newest one in Florida as of 2012. This is a large cemetery and it is located on 313 acres. It is scheduled to be open for veterans and their spouses until around 2060. The South Florida VA National Cemetery will be available to serve military veterans' burial needs for at least the next 50 years.
The South Florida VA National Cemetery is located in Western Palm Beach County in what is considered Lake Worth. It is located on Florida State Road 7 aka U.S. Hwy 441 and it is located just south of Lantana Road and just north of Boynton Beach Boulevard. It is between Lantana Rd and Hypoluxo Rd on the West side of the highway as has a prominent sign and US flag.
Burial arrangements for US veterans are to be made after their death. The policy for burial space as with all VA national cemeteries is as follows: The VA does not reserve specific grave space. If a veteran member is currently buried, then a space can be reserved next to the spouse. Veterans cannot pick and choose the spot they wish to be buried.
Military honors are available for all honorably discharged Veterans; this includes an honor guard and the folding of the flag. The flag is given to the next of kin of the veteran honored in this fashion. This is the closest VA cemetery to West Palm Beach, Ft Lauderdale and Miami - Dade.

Barn Swallows - Filmstrip - National Cemetery, Lake Worth, FL
2017.08.27, Many extreme maneuvering Barn Swallows in flight, over an open lawn at the South Florida National Cemetery in western Lake Worth, FL. These birds were apparently feeding on insects and moving very fast. I saw some close calls, but no collisions. I have seen this over the years quite a few times, but these 29 photos were the best I have been able to capture so far.

Salute to Veterans and Wreath Laying at South Florida National Cemetery
Close to 12,000 wreaths were placed with great care on the graves of veterans and their spouses on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013 at the South Florida National Cemetery on State Road 7 south of Wellington. A ceremony - complete with patriotic speeches honoring the dedication and sacrifice of veterans and POWs, ceremonial laying of wreaths, honor guards from area military groups, a flyover by a Vietnam era Huey helicopter, prayers for the fallen and the playing of Taps - was organized by Wreaths Across America and sponsored heavily by Walmart (with funded the trucking of thousands of fresh Christmas wreaths and many of the wreaths themselves). Several thousand residents came to the cemetery and had the wreaths laid within an hour after the ceremony on a sunny, hot day more reminiscent of Independence Day than Christmas. More photos can be seen at MarkeySportsPhoto.com.
