I was heading to the beach and would be passing South of the Border, a tourism trap that sells fireworks, so I decided to stop by and see if firework prices would be cheaper compared to what we found on the 4th of July.

South of the Border = Tourist Trap (3/5/07)
Here is a quick clip of one of the ultimate tourist traps in the United States - South of the Border in South Carolina.
If you've never stopped at the attraction along Interstate 95, you're not missing much. Lots of fireworks and junk in the stores.
I usually like to stop just to take a break and see how crappy the place continues to be.
I wasn't happy about the Mexican flag flying on the property, but from the looks of the flag it appeared to be a piece of junk anyways.

In 2012 my family and I came across a small town called South of the Border while traveling through South Carolina, USA. It was very strange and eerily uninhabited. In 2013 we returned to S.O.B. and I decided I had to document it.
Filmed on a Nikon D5100 in 2013.
