British Kitesurfing Championships Round 2: Southend-on-Sea
Round 2 of the BKC, run by IKSURFMAG and KITEWORLD MAG in association with the British Kite Sports Association, took place at Southend in Essex on 25th and 26th July 2015. Conditions were tricky, being light and gusty on Saturday with demanding, shallow waters and then a blustery, wet session almost all day Sunday. As Mike Smith and Rob Claisse pointed out, competition makes you a better rider!
Once again a full ladder of Pro Men, Pro Women, Masters, Amateur Men, Amateur Women and Junior competitions were completed and the level and intensity of the championship continued to rise.
