Space Farms: A Motorcycle Ride through Sussex County
Riding In New Jersey
16th installment of motorcycle rides through New Jersey.
A Motorcycle ride to Space Farms Zoo & Museum in Beemerville, NJ on my BMW R1200RT. The trip passes by Sunrise Mountain Road and maintains a route down Upper North Shore Drive to Route 519 to Space Farms Zoo & Museum in Beemerville, NJ. A virtual visit to Space Farms Zoo & Museum is given during our ride today.
This video was filmed entirely with SJCAM SJ400 Action Camera
The SJ400 rivals the GoPro Hero at a fraction of the cost. You can buy three SJ400s for the price of 1 GoPro. See for yourself. In my opinion, unless you're Cecil B. DeMille, dollar for dollar, this camera out performs the GoPro Hero.

Assemblyman Parker Space and A leaked Recording
TO TELL THE TRUTH?
A leaked recording has put a New Jersey politician back in the hot seat.
Republican Assemblyman Parker Space sparked controversy in late August for a photo posted to Facebook of him posing next to the Confederate flag. On Wednesday, Politico NJ leaked audio of the assemblyman speaking crude words about his opponent in his General Assembly race, Democrat Kate Matteson.
Space has admitted to the audio, but expressed concern that he was secretly recorded. The audio was recorded by James Santonastaso, a Sussex County Democratic Committee Member, according to Politico NJ. The media outlet did not disclose who gave them the audio.

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and partner agencies are pleased to announce the preservation of 2,218 acres of picturesque woodlands in Sussex County.
“This is one of the largest state-coordinated preservation efforts in New Jersey in years,” Assistant Commissioner for Natural and Historic Resources Ray Bukowski said. “The acquisition of the conservation easements for this beautiful property will enhance the public’s quality of life by creating passive recreational opportunities, preserving wildlife habitats, protecting water quality and preventing future development.”

Warning: This video contains graphic content. Viewer discretion is advised.
In 1976 Frederick Wiseman produced the Direct Cinema documentary Meat, taking the viewer on a behind the scenes journey to meat slaughterhouses in Pennsylvania. For some people it was the first time they had witnessed the way in which their meat dinners were processed before arriving at their tables.
In Road Killz, I have presented the story of state worker John Snyder, an RKT (Road Kill Technician) during a typical day of cleaning up Sussex County, NJ's road kill deer carcasses from the sides of highways. He believes his work is important and a service to the community. John brings his days catch back to Space Farms Museum and Zoo where the fresh kills are processed and used for
feeding the zoo animals. All other unfresh deer are buried in land fills. Fred Space is 2nd generation owner/operator of Space Farms Museum and Zoo. He is personally involved in the skinning and processing of each fresh carcass that he feeds to his lions.
Road Killz is not intended to tell a story for shock value alone. It tells the story of
an unstaged typical day in both these mens lives. John does his job and takes a break for lunch mid day at a local restaurant. The juxtapositioning of Johns
mundane demeanor with the dead deer he has to pick up almost becomes comical through repetition in real time. I hope the audience begins to develop a sense of Gallo's humor by watching this especially those who have never witnessed what is considered very normal and matter of fact for my subjects. I want the viewer to see some of the humor my subjects have developed by doing
this job day in and day out. This is a lifestyle for them. Everything you see was not staged for the camera with exception of one cutaway of the truck leaving the site. No animal was mistreated that I witnessed. All fresh deer is skinned and fed to the animals upon completion.
I've attempted to make the viewer think about death through the eyes of state workers who witness and work with it every day. We've become sheltered from a natural process that happens to everyone. Road Killz are metaphors for a much greater human step in our lives that we must all come to face at some time. Road Killz will stimulate the viewers curiosity. We hide our eyes or turn are head but deep inside we want to see more because some of us have been sheltered from a very natural stage of life.

New Brunswick
New Brunswick (French: Nouveau-Brunswick; pronounced: [nu.vo.bʁœn.swik], Quebec French pronunciation: [nu.vo.bʁɔn.zwɪk] ( )) is one of Canada's three Maritime provinces and is the only province in the Canadian federation that is constitutionally bilingual (English–French). It was created as a result of the partitioning of the British Colony of Nova Scotia in 1784. Fredericton is the capital and Saint John is the most populous city. Greater Moncton (Moncton, Dieppe, Riverview) forms the province's largest census metropolitan area. In the 2011 nation wide census, Statistics Canada estimated the provincial population to have been 751,171. The majority of the population is English-speaking, but there is also a large Francophone minority (33%), chiefly of Acadian origin.

Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain
Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio while you are sleeping! If you are planning to listen a lot, you could try using a bone conduction headphone, or a standard speaker instead of an earphone.

SUMMARY
=======
Delaware ( (listen)) is one of the 50 states of the United States, in the Mid-Atlantic or Northeastern region. It is bordered to the south and west by Maryland, to the north by Pennsylvania, and to the east by New Jersey and the Atlantic Ocean. The state takes its name from Thomas West, 3rd Baron De La Warr, an English nobleman and Virginia's first colonial governor.Delaware occupies the northeastern portion of the Delmarva Peninsula. It is the second smallest and sixth least populous state, but the sixth most densely populated. Delaware's largest city is Wilmington. The state is divided into three counties, the lowest number of any state. From north to south, they are New Castle County, Kent County, and Sussex County. While the southern two counties have historically been predominantly agricultural, New Castle County is more industrialized.
Before its coastline was explored by Europeans in the 16th century, Delaware was inhabited by several groups of Native Americans, including the Lenape in the north and Nanticoke in the south. It was initially colonized by Dutch traders at Zwaanendael, near the present town of Lewes, in 1631. Delaware was one of the 13 colonies participating in the American Revolution. On December 7, 1787, Delaware became the first state to ratify the Constitution of the United States, and has since been known as The First State.

Auburn Coach Wife Kristi Malzahn Agrees with Match & eHarmony: Men are Jerks
My advice is this: Settle! That's right. Don't worry about passion or intense connection. Don't nix a guy based on his annoying habit of yelling Bravo! in movie theaters. Overlook his halitosis or abysmal sense of aesthetics. Because if you want to have the infrastructure in place to have a family, settling is the way to go. Based on my observations, in fact, settling will probably make you happier in the long run, since many of those who marry with great expectations become more disillusioned with each passing year. (It's hard to maintain that level of zing when the conversation morphs into discussions about who's changing the diapers or balancing the checkbook.)
Obviously, I wasn't always an advocate of settling. In fact, it took not settling to make me realize that settling is the better option, and even though settling is a rampant phenomenon, talking about it in a positive light makes people profoundly uncomfortable. Whenever I make the case for settling, people look at me with creased brows of disapproval or frowns of disappointment, the way a child might look at an older sibling who just informed her that Jerry's Kids aren't going to walk, even if you send them money. It's not only politically incorrect to get behind settling, it's downright un-American. Our culture tells us to keep our eyes on the prize (while our mothers, who know better, tell us not to be so picky), and the theme of holding out for true love (whatever that is—look at the divorce rate) permeates our collective mentality.
Even situation comedies, starting in the 1970s with The Mary Tyler Moore Show and going all the way to Friends, feature endearing single women in the dating trenches, and there's supposed to be something romantic and even heroic about their search for true love. Of course, the crucial difference is that, whereas the earlier series begins after Mary has been jilted by her fiancé, the more modern-day Friends opens as Rachel Green leaves her nice-guy orthodontist fiancé at the altar simply because she isn't feeling it. But either way, in episode after episode, as both women continue to be unlucky in love, settling starts to look pretty darn appealing. Mary is supposed to be contentedly independent and fulfilled by her newsroom family, but in fact her life seems lonely. Are we to assume that at the end of the series, Mary, by then in her late 30s, found her soul mate after the lights in the newsroom went out and her work family was disbanded? If her experience was anything like mine or that of my single friends, it's unlikely.
And while Rachel and her supposed soul mate, Ross, finally get together (for the umpteenth time) in the finale of Friends, do we feel confident that she'll be happier with Ross than she would have been had she settled down with Barry, the orthodontist, 10 years earlier? She and Ross have passion but have never had long-term stability, and the fireworks she experiences with him but not with Barry might actually turn out to be a liability, given how many times their relationship has already gone up in flames. It's equally questionable whether Sex and the City's Carrie Bradshaw, who cheated on her kindhearted and generous boyfriend, Aidan, only to end up with the more exciting but self-absorbed Mr. Big, will be better off in the framework of marriage and family. (Some time after the breakup, when Carrie ran into Aidan on the street, he was carrying his infant in a Baby Björn. Can anyone imagine Mr. Big walking around with a Björn?)
