18 strong the Sun City Cyclers cruised through Port Royal, the Spanish Moss and Beaufort S. C.
We rode through the Port Royal Cypress Wetlands, the Spanish Moss Tail's first 5 miles section(Part 1). Then we rode through the old section of Beaufort, and on to Pigeon Point boat ramp. This was our turn around point. We returned to Port Royal via the Spanish Moss Trail(Part 2). We did this for the health of it. Join us next time if you dare.

I couldn't resist stopping to admire this beauty of nature on my bike ride along the Spanish Moss Trail in Beaufort, South Carolina.

16 cyclist strong, the Sun City Cyclers Crew started in Port Royal S. C. to ride the first five miles of the Spanish Moss Bicycle Trail into Beaufort. Then we toured the old city mansions of Beaufort. We went to the other side of the tracks to see some of the modest homes on Pigeon Point. A short visit to the Beaufort National Cemetery. Lunch time bell went off in our belly's.
We stopped at Magnolia Bakery Cafe for lunch. Refreshed we all made a soft and safe landing back in Post Royal. S. C. We do this for the health of it. Join us if you dare.

Mayor Keyserling talks about apparent robbery off Spanish Moss Trail
Beaufort Mayor Billy Keyserling spoke with Josh Mitelman Thursday about the alleged armed robbery of an 86-year-old man Wednesday morning on Spanish Moss Trail. While regretful about the incident, Keyserling is confident the trail is safe for all, and excited about the expansion of the emerging lowcountry hot-spot.
