Woodhenge Worth Matravers Dorset UK
Save Jurassic coast's Woodhenge at Worth Matravers Dorset. Pub landlord, Charlie Newman who built this 12ft high 'Stonehenge' using disused wood has been ordered to tear down his creation.
He runs the Square and Compass in Worth Matravers, Dorset, used 35 tonnes of timber to build the model 'stone' circle in a field he owns in the village.
But Purbeck District Council has ordered Mr Newman to remove the installation by this September.

Jurassic Coast Adventure Walk at St Albans Head
An epic and rather windy walk along the Jurassic Coast in Dorset. We started at the top of Chapmans Pool and made our way down to the beach. Followed by rock hopping and traversing around St Alans Head. What a great day and a perspective of this area not many people get to see, check it out people!

Worth Matravers
Just a few minutes from a bike ride in Worth Matravers near St Albans Head Dorset. Sorry about the quality and mud on the lens but this shows why I cycle around Dorset. You can get away from cars and all the other things that are in a city.
Dorset's Jurassic Coast - The Two Churches of Kingston
I am exploring the beautiful village of Kingston in Dorset that over looks the impressive castle remains at Corfe. But I am here to have a look at both churches - one of which is now in private hands.
Kingston is situated about two miles south of Corfe Castle and five miles west of Swanage. The village of Kingston is situated on a hill near Swyre Head, the highest point of the Purbeck Hills. The village is surrounded by woods and stands at a height of over 400 ft (120 Metres) above sea level and can be seen from far away.

Dorset's Jurassic Coast - St Aldhelm's Chapel
In part three of my adventure to Dorset and the Jurassic Coast, Dave Ford and I are exploring St Aldhelm's unusual chapel and the ancient graffiti scrawled on to its walls.
We have some difficult hills to climb and valleys to cross before discovering other interesting features and monuments along the way.

Dorset's Jurassic Coast - Bald Explorer goes to Dancing Ledge
In today's video, Dave Ford takes me to the fascinating quarry along the Dorset coastline known as Dancing Ledge.
Dancing Ledge is part of the Jurassic Coast near Langton Matravers in the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset, England. Dancing Ledge is a flat area of rock at the base of a small cliff. A little scrambling is required for access. It is signposted on the South West Coast Path a few kilometres west of Swanage. Dancing Ledge is so called because at certain stages of the tide when the waves wash over the horizontal surface, the surface undulations cause the water to bob about making the ledge appear to dance.

Thanks to Dave for taking me around. I will be back to explore more soon!

Dorset's Jurassic Coast - a scramble down to Chapman's Pool
Today, as part of my adventures in Dorset exploring the Jurassic Coast, I visit Chapman's Pool, not the most easiest beach to get too.
Chapman's Pool is a small cove to the west of Worth Matravers on the Isle of Purbeck, and is most deserted because it so difficult to get down too. However, once there, the views are fabulous and the beach lovely.
