During a day trip to Munich, hubby and I visited 8 churches (Peterskirche--AKA St Peter's Church-- is a separate video clip, Before moving to Germany, I always thought the must-see European churches were in Italy and England, but omigosh, going inside these Munich churches had been a real treat because they're all unique and beautiful in their own way. Can't wait to visit more churches here in Germany... and all over Europe!

Hubertusmesse in der Heilig Geist Kirche, München, 3. November 2018
Die Hubertusmesse ist eine instrumental erklingende Messe oder ein Jägergottesdienst. Die Veranstaltung wird jährlich zu Ehren Gottes und zur Erinnerung an den Heiligen Hubertus von Lüttich um den 3. November, dem Hubertustag, durchgeführt. Der Überlieferung nach war Hubertus als junger Edelmann ein leidenschaftlich ausschweifender Jäger, der die Erlegung des Wildes als Selbstzweck sah. Später erkannte Hubertus in allen Wesen Geschöpfe göttlichen Ursprungs und hat sich deshalb hegend und pflegend für sie verwandt. Diese Grundhaltung der „Achtung vor dem Geschöpf“ ging als Waidgerechtigkeit in die Verhaltensgrundsätze der Jägerschaft ein.
St. Peter Kirche in München ist Barrierefrei
München: Heute hat der Domkapitular Hans-Georg Platschek von der St. Peter Kirche in München, das Bayern barrierefrei Signet von dem bayerischen Kultusminister Bernd Sibler überreicht bekommen.
Um den Kirchenbesucherinnen- und Besuchern einen barrierefreien Zugang in das Gotteshaus zu ermöglichen wurden einige extra Baumaßnahmen durchgeführt wie z.B. das Terrain vor dem Nordeingang in einen fließenden Verlauf aufgeschüttet und die Kirche mit einer Induktionsanlage für Menschen mit eingeschränkten Gehörvermögen ausgestattet. Das Geläut der Stadtpfarrkiche Traun- St Martin

Alle Glocken sind in der regulären Kordlerrippe geformt. Dieses Geläut hört man sicher weit, da die Glockenstube nur aus zwei Wänden bsteht. Leider herrscht hier die in OÖ- Läutedauer.

Es läutet die klangvolle Glocke der ehemaligen Damenstiftskirche in Hall in Tirol.

Das Haller Damenstift wurde 1567 durch Ferdinand II. für seine zwei ledigen Schwestern Erzherzogin Magdalena und Helena gegründet. Genutzt wurde das Gelände der Burg Sparberegg, die von 1477 bis 1567 Sitz der Münze war. Nach der Grundsteinlegung konnten die beiden Frauen 1569 mit 40 Stiftsdamen in das Gebäude einziehen. Das Stiftsgebäude und die 1570 geweihte Stiftskirche (jetzt Herz-Jesu-Basilika) wurden von den italienischen Baumeistern Giovanni und Alberto Lucchese im Renaissancestil errichtet. Zum Damenstift gehörten weitere Gebäude in Hall wie das Kapellmeisterhaus, das Knabenseminar, der Ansitz Thurnfeld sowie der Stiftsgarten mit der Stiftsmaierei, dem Sommerhaus und dem Stiftsdoktorhaus. Die geistliche Betreuung des Stiftes wurde vom Jesuitenorden übernommen, der sich in nächster Nähe ansiedelte.
Da im Haller Damenstift vor allem Damen des Hochadels ein sorgenfreies, frommes Leben geboten werden sollte, wurde das Stift finanziell gut ausgestattet, wobei die Oberinnen versuchten das Vermögen gut anzulegen. Gräfin zu Spaur und Vallör erwarb beispielsweise die Pfandherrschaft über das Gericht Lienz mit den Niedergerichten Kals, Virgen und Defereggen sowie die Herrschaft Heinfels.
Die Stiftsanlage wurde bereits 1611/1612 stark verändert. Durch die Neugestaltung des Jesuitenklosters und den Neubau der Jesuitenkirche wurde der Anlage ein barocker Charakter verliehen. Durch ein Erdbeben im Jahr 1670 wurde eine zweite Umgestaltung nötig.
1783 hob Kaiser Josef II. das Haller Damenstift auf. Das Stiftsgebäude wurde in der Folge als Wohnhaus genutzt und die Kirche profaniert. 1845 wurde hier das Stadtspital eingerichtet. Erst 1912 wurden das Stiftsgebäude und die Kirche wieder ihrem ursprünglichen Zweck zugeführt, indem auf Betreiben von Erzherzog Ferdinand Karl der belgische Orden Filles du Sacré Coeur die Gebäude nutzte. Die klausurierten Töchter vom Hlgst. Herzen Jesu widmen sich der täglichen Anbetung und werden im Haller Volksmund aufgrund ihres Ordenskleides „Weiße Tauben“ genannt.

Glocke 1 stammt noch vom alten Geläute von 1922 aus Riezlern. Da läuten seit 1949 Stahlglocken des Bochumer Vereins.
In den Jahren 1805/06 entstand die heutige Pfarrkirche unter Baumeister Georg Mathis und Maurermeister Josef Zengerle. Geweiht wurde sie im Jahr 1806.

In the 1920s, Munich became home to several political factions, among them the NSDAP. The first attempt of the Nazi movement to take over the German government in 1923 with the Beer Hall Putsch was stopped by the Bavarian police in Munich with gunfire. After the Nazis' rise to power, Munich was declared their Capital of the Movement. During World War II, Munich was heavily bombed and more than 50% of the entire city and up to 90% of the historic centre were destroyed. After the end of postwar American occupation in 1949, there was a great increase in population and economic power during the years of Wirtschaftswunder, or economic miracle. Unlike many other German cities which were heavily bombed, Munich restored most of its traditional cityscape and hosted the 1972 Summer Olympics. The 1980s brought strong economic growth, high-tech industries and scientific institutions, and population growth. The city is home to major corporations like BMW, Siemens, MAN, Linde, Allianz and MunichRE.
Munich is home to many universities, museums and theatres. Its numerous architectural attractions, sports events, exhibitions and its annual Oktoberfest attract considerable tourism. Munich is one of the most prosperous and fastest growing cities in Germany. It is a top-ranked destination for migration and expatriate location. Munich hosts more than 530,000 people of foreign background, making up 37.7% of its population.
