Converted ciné film of the transport from Essex to central London, and erection at St James's Church Piccadilly, of new clock-tower, spire and weathervane. Filmed one Sunday morning in (we believe) 1968. The original clock-tower, spire and weathervane were destroyed in a bombing raid in October 1940.

Directed and Produced by Rufus Stone at Sister TV for St James's TV.
Classical boy band Blake (Humphrey Berney, Ollie Baines, Jules Knight and Stephen Bowman) decorated and switched on the 2010 St James's Church Christmas Tree Lights in Jermyn Street, London SW1 to launch the festive season in St James's, London.
Their appearance was to pre promote their forthcoming concert at St James's Church on 25 November 2010, part of their exciting Cathedral tour across the UK.
The day's event included the boy band being dressed by the Jermyn Street retailers including T.M. Lewin, Favourbrook, Hilditch & Key, Hawes & Curtis, Bates, Church's and New & Lingwood.
The decorations of the Christmas tree, which was donated by The Crown Estate, were supplied by Jermyn Street establishments including Favourbrook, The Cavendish Hotel, Fortnum and Mason, Paxton and Whitfield and Floris.
The tree complements the Jermyn Street Christmas lights which are supported by The Jermyn Street Association and The Crown Estate.
Jermyn Street offers limited edition Christmas gift ideas, that are currently on display in the shop windows such as perfumes, cheeses, ties, shoes, belts, luxury leather goods, gloves, books, scarves, wine and cigars and for those with a little more in the budget, contemporary and classical fine art too.
James Cooksey, Head of The Central London Portfolio at The Crown Estate said: We are delighted to be supporting the Christmas lights again this year in Jermyn Street. We look forward to another exciting year in St James's and to working with the local community to build on and improve the distinct character and heritage of this iconic area.

Mixing eclectic classical and pop songs with rich harmony vocals, classical 'boy band' Blake launched their first album in 2007, just 6 months after reuniting as friends on Facebook. The album went straight to Number One in the UK Classical Album Chart and hit Number 18 in the UK Pop Album Chart.
The public embraced their debut album immediately, with over 100,000 copies being sold in just three weeks and earning the group their first Gold Disc. The music industry followed in early 2008, when the album received the prestigious Brit-Award for Album of the Year, a huge honour for a group still less than a year old.
During summer 2010, the band were invited twice to Buckingham Palace to perform for royalty, starting press rumours that the band may well be singing at the much anticipated wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, old friends of Jules and Ollie from the group.
The band finished up 2010 with a 26 date UK-wide tour, performing to over 50,000 people across the British Isles. The 'An Evening With Blake' show sold out in many of the venues on the tour and was expected to be the biggest Blake headline tour to date.

Walking around St James’s area in the City of Westminster, London. Journey starts at Piccadilly Circus and ends west side of Pall Mall via Jermyn street, Park Place and Crown Passage.
Jermyn street is famous for British gentleman’s clothing retailers such as shirts, hats, shoes, shaving brushes, umbrellas and colognes.
Britain’s one of the oldest cheese shop, Paxton & Whitfield is also on Jermyn street, they have been trading since 1797.
