St. Dominic's Church Macau
Located right in the heart of Senado Square of Macau, St. Domingo's Church, also St. Dominic's Church, was constructed by three Spanish Dominican priests in 1587 for worshiping Our Lady of the Rosary. It was refurbished in 1828 and was expanded to the large scale that it represents today. This church was placed on the World Heritage List in July 2005, and as such also became the 31st world heritage site of China.

Historic Center of Macau, China in 4K (Ultra HD)
Macau (Macao) is a special administrative region of China, former Portuguese oversees territory (until 1999). Macau is inscribed on the UNESCO WORLD Heritage list, quote: Macao, a lucrative port of strategic importance in the development of international trade, was under Portuguese administration from the mid-16th century until 1999, when it came under Chinese sovereignty. With its historic street, residential, religious and public Portuguese and Chinese buildings, the historic centre of Macao provides a unique testimony to the meeting of aesthetic, cultural, architectural and technological influences from East and West. The site also contains a fortress and a lighthouse, the oldest in China. It bears witness to one of the earliest and longest-lasting encounters between China and the West, based on the vibrancy of international trade.

Macau World Heritage Ruins of St. Paul's
The Ruins of St. Paul's refer to the facade of what was originally the Church of Mater Dei built in 1602-1640, destroyed by fire in 1835, and the ruins of St. Paul's College, which stood adjacent to the Church. As a whole, the old Church of Mater Dei, St. Paul's College and Mount Fortress were all Jesuit constructions and formed what can be perceived as the Macau's acropolis. Close by, the archaeological remains of the old College of St. Paul stand witness to what was the first western-style university in the Far East, with an elaborate academic programme. Nowadays, the facade of the Ruins of St. Paul's functions symbolically as an altar to the city.

Macau Ricci Institute
Four centuries after Matteo Ricci arrived in China, Jesuits continue in the way he forged for engaging with the country. The Macau Ricci Institute offers a unique blend of cultural, professional, and research programmes. Its method and purpose are best summed up in its links with the city of Macau, the person of Matteo Ricci, the Society of Jesus, and the peoples of China.
Macau Tourist Churches Tour
When the Portuguese first settled in Macau in the 1500's they brought with them their devotion to the Catholic faith. Macau not only became known as the city of churches; but it was also the centre of Catholicism in the Far East, training missionarries in Chinese and Asian cultures before sending them as far afield as Japan and the Imperial Court in Beijing.

Macau Impressions -
Macau (澳門) offers more than just the casinos and colonial Portugal buildings, here you can really see and feel the cultural contrasts between East and West, and also the contrasts of quiet old streets against the hi-traffic busy neon lit avenues.
It is very convenience to move around, you can walk, hop into a cab or taking public buses that will bring you to almost all the tourist destinations.
Beside the famous St. Dominic Church and St. Lawrence’s Church, ancient A-ma Temple(妈阁庙) is one of the very popular Taoist Temple for Mainland Chinese tourist. Macau people are generally nice and polite, I especially enjoy the hospitality and friendly services of Casa De Cha Long Wa Restaurant
Please enjoy my Impressions of Macau in 4K!

Our Lady of Remedy 400th Years Anniversary @ St Lawrence's Church, Macau
