The UCD Choral Scholars released their debut international recording on Signum Records on 11th December 2015 (USA and Canada – 12th February 2016). Putting together a successful 'flash mob' dance takes coordination, skill, practice, and months of prep. This one took place at Skylar & Daniel's wedding and included all of the bridal party, most of whom don't live in the same state! Watch as they pull it off and surprise our bride and groom!
PS: The dance at the end was choreographed when Skylar was younger - she and the rest of her sisters/cousins had been performing it for years! Dan knew it after seeing it so many times.

The Role of Reconciliation, Memory, and Theology in Shaping the Public Stage
Much has been written about the Northern Ireland peace process, particularly on securing the peace. However, as Senator George Mitchell commented in relation to the Good Friday agreement, “If you think getting this agreement was difficult, implementing it will be even more difficult.” Twenty-one years after the signing of the Good Friday agreement, those have proven to be prophetic words.
Dr. Mason will explore what reconciliation looks like in a contested space, the power of memory and story in keeping the pain of the past alive, and how theology can move into that contested narrative in a way that brings about dialogue, honesty, and healing. He will also address the current Brexit situation, exploring how Brexit has been a very difficult experience for these two islands.

For the past few months I’ve been working on a video for my track ‘Please Don’t Go’ that I am so honoured to share with you all. It’s hard to put into words what this video means to me and how grateful I am to the people who took part - it wasn’t easy. A few years ago, I lost my nephew very suddenly and it was something that changed my life forever. I can still remember how it felt and I know there are so many other people who have gone through the same thing in one form or another.
I feel like this song has resonated the most with me since writing it. I remember the exact place it came from and it never loses its meaning no matter how many times I play it. Since then, I’ve wanted to create a music video that reflects this and which could potentially help people who are struggling with loss while also giving people a chance to tell their story.
To John, Dylan, Donna, Cian, Moira, Gary, Teresa, Kate and Tony, I will never be able to thank you enough for your honesty and willingness to share what you did, it takes tremendous courage and I have so much respect for you all. To Kate O' Hara, Miki Barlok, Gary Keane and Kevin Herlihy - all the time and effort you've put into this has brought it to life.
Also a very special thank you to Sarah Power for her incredible piano and production work and Gary Keane for his vocal and production work. This track would be nothing without ye and making the EP was best experience of my life. You guys are magic.

Perry Como
Pierino Ronald Perry Como was an American singer and television personality. During a career spanning more than half a century, he recorded exclusively for RCA Victor after signing with the label in 1943. Mr. C., as he was nicknamed, sold millions of records for RCA and pioneered a weekly musical variety television show, which set the standards for the genre and proved to be one of the most successful in television history. Como was seen weekly on television from 1949 to 1963, then continued hosting the Kraft Music Hall variety program monthly until 1967. His television shows and seasonal specials were broadcast throughout the world. Also a popular recording artist, Perry Como produced numerous hit records; his combined success on television and popular recordings was not matched by any other artist of the time. Como's appeal spanned generations and he was widely respected for both his professional standards and the conduct in his personal life. In the official RCA Records Billboard magazine memorial, his life was summed up in these few words: 50 years of music and a life well lived. An example to all. Composer Ervin Drake said of him, ... [o]ccasionally someone like Perry comes along and won't 'go with the flow' and still prevails in spite of all the bankrupt others who surround him and importune him to yield to their values. Only occasionally.
One of the many factors in his success was Como's insistence on his principles of good taste; if he considered something to be in bad or poor taste, it was not in the show or broadcast. When a remark made by Julius La Rosa about television personality Arthur Godfrey on The Perry Como Show was misconstrued, Como offered an on-air apology at the beginning of his next show, against the advice of his staff. While his performance of Ave Maria was a tradition of his holiday television programs, Como refused to sing it at live performances, saying, It's not the time or place to do it, even though it was the number-one request of his audiences. Another was his naturalness; the man viewers saw on the screen was the same person who could be encountered behind a supermarket shopping cart, at a bowling alley, or in a kitchen making breakfast. From his first Chesterfield Supper Club television show, if scripts were written at all, they were based on the way Como would say something. Como was not devoid of a temper, and it could be seen at times as a result of the frustrations of daily life. His music director from 1948 to 1963, Mitchell Ayres, said, Perry has a temper like everyone else. And he loses his temper at the normal things everyone else does. When we're driving, for instance, and somebody cuts him off, he really lets the offender have it.

He was the first President of the UN War Crimes Court in Sierra Leone, and has delivered ground-breaking judgements on the illegality of recruiting child soldiers and the invalidity of amnesties for crimes against humanity.
In this speech, Robertson praises the late Christopher Hitchens for his efforts to make the world a saner place, raises accusations at the Catholic Church for their coverup of child sex abuse cases worldwide, pleads for a secular state to ensure the freedoms of speech and religion, raises awareness about the persecution of non-believers in Muslim countries, and finally warns for the nuclear danger the Islamic Republic of Iran poses to all those of non-Shia beliefs.

This feature-length documentary focuses on revolutionary trans-activist, Marsha Pay it No Mind Johnson, a Stonewall instigator, Andy Warhol model, drag queen, sex worker, starving actress, and Saint. Pay It captures the legendary gay/human rights activist as she recounts her life at the forefront of The Stonewall Riots in the 1960s, the creation of S.T.A.R. (Street Transvestite Action Revolutionaries) with Sylvia Rivera in the '70s, and a New York City activist throughout the '80s and early '90s. Through her own words, as well as in-depth interviews with gay activist Randy Wicker, former Cockettes performer Agosto Machado, author Michael Musto, Hot Peaches founder/performer, Jimmy Camicia, and Stonewall activists Bob Kohler, Danny Garvin, Tommy Lanigan-Schmidt, and Martin Boyce, Marsha's story lives on.
This documentary screened in 2012 at the IFC theater in New York; the British Film Institute in London, England; Roxie Theater in San Fran; Clinton St. Theater in Portland, Ore.; and La Mutinerie Theater in Paris, France. Gilbert Keith Chesterton (1874-1936) was an influential and prolific English writer of the early 20th century. He was a journalist, a poet and a novelist. He wrote 80 books and 200 short stories in addition to his other work. He is perhaps best remembered for his 'Father Brown' stories. 'The Man Who Knew Too Much' has some similarities to the Father Brown stories: Horne Fisher the eponymous hero is connected and indeed related to many of the high-ranking politicians of his age and thus 'knows too much' about the background of the mysteries in which he becsomes embroiled and which he unravels.
