Built to provide shelter for metaphysical ambitions, loaded with a certain importance and difference from other spaces used by humans, the notorious St. Petri Church in Klippan possess qualities which it enhances from the ones by whom it is approached.
This particular architecture of Sigurd Lewerentz does not act on the basis of repeating what we think something should look alike. Over time these charged rooms of a Swedish town has therefor become a destination for dedicated pilgrimages from allover the world.
This movie aim to discuss the Sankt Petri Church through means by which it has not been approached before. Not wishing to document a full picture, but to tell a speculative story of today by enhancing the architectural holiness it has gained since its completion in 1966.
