Hier kann man baden im Stadtparksee, Grillen auf der Stadtparkwiese, Minigolf auf der Minigolfanlage, Klettern auf dem Spielplatz, Spazieren, Joggen, Boot fahren, Kaffee trinken im Lesecafé und und und ... Im Juli 2014 wurde der Stadtpark übrigens 100 Jahre alt ...
Hamburg, Stadtpark, Alster Canal Tour - Germany 4K Travel Channel
The Alster canal tour by boat starts at Jungfernstieg, a street on the southern shore of the Binnenalster Lake in Hamburg.
Across the Binnen and Outer Alster Lake we reach the Alster canals. Past the best residential areas and through wildly overgrown channels, you experience Hamburg from a completely different side.
Despite the fact that the weather is not always the best in Hamburg, the people in Hamburger use the first sunrays to have fun on and around the water.
This huge recreational area offers a variety of water sports such as boating, canoe paddling, sailing, windsurfing or swimming.
The canal tour leads us along the Osterbeck channel, the Barmbeker branch canal, past the bay with the Cafe Sommer-Terassen. On the Goldbekkanal the boat makes a short side trip to the Stadtparksee, the lake in the city park, before we reach the Rondeelteich, the first address of Hamburg.
We return to the Outer and Inner Alster Lake before we reach the end of our Alster canal tour at Jungfernstieg.

Die Alster Kanal Tour in Hamburg beginnt am Jungfernstieg.
Von hier aus passiert man Binnen- und Außenalster bevor man die Alster Kanäle zwischen Außenalster und Stadtpark erreicht. Vorbei an den besten Wohnlagen und durch wild bewachsene Kanäle erlebt man Hamburg von einer völlig neuen Seite.
Unabhängig davon, dass in Hamburg das Wetter nicht immer das beste ist, nutzen die Hamburger die ersten Sonnenstrahlen um sich am und auf dem Wasser zu vergnügen.
Dieses riesige Freizeitgelände bietet vielfältige Möglichkeiten für Wassersport, vom Bootfahren zum Kanu paddeln bis hin zum Segeln, Windsurfen und Schwimmen.
Die Route führt von der Binnenalster zur Außenalster, anschließend durch den Osterbeckkanal, den Barmbeker Stichkanal, vorbei an der Bucht und dem Cafe Sommer-Terassen in den Stadtparksee und weiter durch den Goldbekkanal zum Rondeelteich, der ersten Adresse Hamburgs.
Danach geht es wieder zurück zum Jungfernstieg.

Hamburg Stadtpark is a 148 hectares large urban park in the Hamburg district of Winterhude, in the borough of Hamburg-Nord. Alongside Altona Volkspark, it is the largest park in the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, Germany. Where game was once hunted is now a lively destination in good weather: Young and old meet on the large Stadtpark lawn for football games, picnicking, sunbathing and kite flying. On the edge of the meadow is a giant playground with swings, a slide and lots of equipment. Water babies will especially enjoy the the shallow ponds.
Hamburg Stadtpark with its more than 150 hectares is a true multicultural location. On fine weekends, it often attracts more than 200,000 visitors who appreciate the host of leisure activities and come to play sports, barbecue, listen to music or just relax.
The recreation area is located in the Winterhude district and is Hamburg's green oasis, and remains a public park as its founders desired. In summer, the Stadtparksee is an open-air swimming pool - there are also paddle and rowing boats available in a separate area. If that's too strenuous, you can also navigate your model boat on the same pond. The planetarium in the former water tower is always worth a visit. It offers a unique journey through the universe as well as delightful children's documentaries and chill evenings on a regular basis.
The trees, bushes and river banks are home to a variety of native and non-native animal and plant species, and in the summer, the outdoor stage hosts interesting open-air concerts: from rock to folk, world-famous artists always enjoy coming to the park. There are also cafés and restaurants in and around the Stadtpark that entice guests with snacks and delicacies. TheSchumachersbeer garden, located right next to the Stadtparksee open-air pool is very popular for evening events. Other locations for relaxation include the Landhaus Walter beer garden, Café Sommerterrassen and Die Bucht.

I recently went on a trip to Northern Germany with my friend, Miriam. It was such a special occasion (mainly to celebrate the end of some important exams) and certainly a trip to remember for years to come!
This is the last of a series of vlogs documenting our adventures out there - during our final day in Hamburg we visit the beautiful Stadtpark (city park), encounter some buskers in a train (literally!), walk through a historic tunnel and visit Hamburg’s famous Kunsthalle (art gallery).
