The Trane Comfort Link zoning system puts you in total control of your home's comfort. Connect your Trane Comfort Link Control and zoning equipment to a perfectly matched Trane variable-speed indoor unit and multi-stage or variable speed outdoor unit and you’ll see for yourself. Every component is designed to work in harmony with the others, optimizing your comfort and energy use combined with the enhanced humidity control you’ll only find with a Trane matched system. A zoning system from Trane can address all of these issues and more. Zoning works by directing more heated or cooled air where it’s needed, and less where it isn’t. This helps reduce the energy spent on areas where conditioned air is not needed, and it can also reduce the overall work your system has to do, prolonging system life. Trane is all about air – cool air, warm air, clean air. The company was founded by James Trane, a Norwegian immigrant. Trane controls the comfort of the air for people in homes and many of the world's largest and most famous commercial, industrial and institutional buildings. Trane is a world leader in providing systems, services and solutions responsive to all the modern realities, while delivering maximum energy efficiency. This is what customers want and the environment needs. Sumrall A/C offers a wide spectrum of HVAC services, as well as specialized services including light refrigeration, ice machine repair/servicing and installation of water well pumps for geothermal systems.

State of Texas: Stark contrasts as presidential candidates make their case to Texans
This week, 20 Democratic candidates took the stage in Detroit for the second presidential debate. But you're not likely to see all of them on stage for next month's debate in Houston.
First Junior Football game in Orange, Texas (1953)
This is the first (non city sponsored) game played in Orange, Texas in 1953. Two o fthe coaches at the end are Art McNabb in the very dark brown shirt on the right and Bill Toohey in the very light blue shirt in the middle. Don Griffin identified the third coach as in the plaid shirt as Pleas (PLA as) Evans.
A group of boys from Gilmer Homes was going to play some kids from Riverside in sandlot ball. Chachie Owens knew Art McNabb was a football star from Overbrook High School in Philly. Chachie asked Art to coach them which Art did. They won. Next, the Riverside kids got Gene (Tenay) Marks to coach them and the competition was on. Art's best friend, Bill Toohey also helped coach and referee.
For Junior football, since it was harder to kick an extra point than it was to run it, Art came up with the idea that a run would count as only one point and a kick would count as 2 points.

Thomas Cole to Thomas Moran: 19th-Century American Landscapes at the Maier
Metropolitan Museum of American Art Research Associate, Dr. Shannon Vittoria, explores the development of 19th-century American landscape painting through a series of works from Randolph College's collection, focusing on the European roots and transatlantic travels of artists including Thomas Cole, Asher B. Durand, George Inness, and Thomas Moran, among others.
Vittoria joined the American Wing of the Metropolitan Museum of American Art in October 2015. She specializes in American painting and works on paper, with a focus on landscape art and women artists. She contributed to the research and organization of Thomas Cole's Journey: Atlantic Crossings (2018). As an Andrew W. Mellon Curatorial Fellow in the department (2013-14), she assisted with research for Thomas Hart Benton's America Today Mural Rediscovered (2014–15).
Vittoria received her PhD in art history from the City University of New York's Graduate Center, where she completed her doctoral dissertation, Nature and Nostalgia in the Art of Mary Nimmo Moran (1842–1899). She has held curatorial research positions at the Frick Collection, the Morgan Library and Museum, and the New York Historical Society.
This lecture is the 2nd Annual Sandra Whitehead Memorial Lecture, a series which highlights works from the Randolph College Collection. The series is supported by the Honorable Paul Whitehead, Jr. and was established in 2018 in memory of his wife Sandra Stone Whitehead.

Biblical Series I: Introduction to the Idea of God
Lecture I in my Psychological Significance of the Biblical Stories series from May 16th at Isabel Bader Theatre in Toronto. In this lecture, I describe what I consider to be the idea of God, which is at least partly the notion of sovereignty and power, divorced from any concrete sovereign or particular, individual person of power. I also suggest that God, as Father, is something akin to the spirit or pattern inherent in the human hierarchy of authority, which is based in turn on the dominance hierarchies characterizing animals.
