Il progetto è l'esatta copia della Statua della Libertà di San Marino per l'Expò di Shanghai è stato realizzato nel 2010.
Il monumento più amato dai sammarinesi, infatti, è stato esposto al centro del padiglione a rappresentare la Repubblica di San Marino all'Expo.
La statua è stata realizzata interamente dalla B.B. tek, a San Marino sulla base di un modello tridimensionale virtuale ottenuto dalla scansione laser del monumento ed è stata realizzata in resina poliuretanica.

Visting San Marino! Spectacular Cable Car With Awesome Views
In this video I head to the fifth smallest country in the world, San Marino! With a population of only 33,500, and a total land space of only 24 sq miles, San Marino is completely surrounded by Italy. In this vlog I head to the Funivia di San Marino, a cable car that provides spectacular views across The Republic Of San Marino and Italy.
The cable car runs from a lower terminus in Borgo Maggiore to the upper station in the City of San Marino. The cable car opened in 1959 and was modernised in the 90's and again in 2017. In this video I share footage from in the cable car along with the spectacular views from the top!

This is a short aerial film of San Marino, a tiny republic landlocked by Italy which I had the pleasure of visiting briefly in March 2019. Shot on a Mavic Pro 2 with Polar Pro ND filter 8 and 16 as the sun set over the city.

A titolo di cronaca, la scritta di Hollywood, storico simbolo del cinema americano, che campeggia sul Cahuenga Peak, rischia di sparire: il terreno di circa sessanta ettari è stato messo in vendita.

In 1996, as a response to the dispute as to whether the Petronas Towers or the Sears Tower was taller, the (CTBUH) listed and ranked buildings in four categories:
height to structural or architectural top;
height to floor of highest occupied floor;
height to top of roof (removed as category in November 2009); and
height to top of any part of the building.
Spires are considered integral parts of the architectural design of buildings, changes to which would substantially change the appearance and design of the building, whereas antennas may be added or removed without such consequences.
As of 2019, this list includes the top 40 buildings (completed and architecturally topped out), as assessed by their highest architectural feature. If the twin towers were not destroyed and One World Trade Center never built, the WTC towers would rank 28 and 29 on the list today.

Gelegentlich ist sie vom Nebel verhüllt: Die Freiheit. Manchmal steht sie im Regen, natürlich ist sie vor allem hitzebeständig, denn der Sommer ist sehr heiß in San Marino.
Die Symbolfigur der kleinen Republik trägt eine Festung als Krone. San Marino verstand seine Unabhängigkeit stets zu verteidigen. Gegen alle Vereinnahmungsversuche von weltlichen Herrschaften, Fürsten und Königen, blieb sie ebenso immun, wie gegen die Ansprüche der Kirchenfürsten. Und Napoleon statuierte an ihr eine Geste der Großzügigkeit, er ließ sie links liegen bei der Eroberung der Welt.
Der Staat mit kaum mehr als 25.000 Bürgern, der bis heute nach einer eigenen und freiheitlichen Verfassung regiert wird, kann beanspruchen, die älteste Republik zu sein. Seit dem 13. Jahrhundert ist die Unabhängigkeit aktenkundig. Die Gründung San Marinos liegt natürlich viel weiter zurück. Das war um das Jahr 300 nach Christus, Legende und Historie sind sich ziemlich einig, und der Gründer war der Heilige Marinus. Und da man die Legende der Stadtgründung durch einen Heiligen nachhaltig bewahrheiten wollte, hat man in der Basilika mit ihrem wunderschönen, griechisch anmutenden Säulenaufgang die Statue des Marinus in den Mittelpunkt des Altarraums gestellt, dafür musste sein himmlischer Chef ein wenig in den Hintergrund treten.
Wenn im adriatischen Meer, das vom 756 Meter hohen Monte Titano in der Ferne sichtbar, die Sonne ihren Aufgang spiegelt, legt sie einen goldenen Teppich zwischen Rimini und die Inseln vor der kroatischen Küste. Rab ist eine dieser Inseln. Von dort war er gekommen, der Heilige, als er noch nicht heilig, sondern Steinmetz war, von Arbe, der Insel Rab. Marinus bearbeitete in der Hafenstadt Rimini Steine für Paläste und römische Tempel. Doch er war Christ, und es war die Zeit, als der römische Kaiser Diokletian die letzte Verfolgung gegen die Anhänger dieses neuen Glaubens ins Werk setzte. Marinus floh aus Rimini auf die damals noch namenlose Gebirgshöhe. Hier war er vor Verfolgung relativ sicher. Senkrecht stürzt der Felsen auf der Westseite des Monte Titano in die Tiefe. Im 13. Jahrhundert wurden direkt an diesem Abgrund drei befestigte Türme gebaut. Sie zählen heute zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die beeindruckende Fernsicht, die der Besucher hier in schwindelerregender Höhe genießen kann, muss er allerdings mit etwas Atemlosigkeit erkaufen. Doch bei fast jeder der steilen Gassen San Marinos geht dem Besucher ein wenig die Puste aus. Aber wer möchte schon auf diesen weiten Blick verzichten, bei dem es einleuchtend erscheint, dass die Bewohner dieses Ortes, die Freiheit über alles stellten.

SAN MARINO (officially the Republic of San Marino) is the third smallest state in Europe (after the Holy See City and Monaco), and claims to be the world's oldest republic.
The heart of San Marino narrates the history of a land for thousands of years suspended between earth and sky, a history packed with emotions that still continues to sustain and nurture the country’s inhabitants and traditions. Today, the UNESCO has proclaimed this history a Heritage of the World, just waiting to be discovered.
The territory of San Marino is composed by nine old small towns called Castelli, including the capital San Marino: in each Castello there is something to discover or to visit.
Piazza della Libertà is the heart of the country’s institutional life.
Here stands the Public Palace (1894), where the Great and General Council (the Parliament) sits. The Palace was restored for the 1994 centenary – it reopened in 1996 - by the internationally renowned architect, the Public Palace. The public can visit the room where the Parliament sits and admire the large fresco by the Roman artist Retrosi, dating back to the late-19th century.
Behind the Public Palace lies the beautiful Cava dei Balestrieri, where traditional events are staged, involving the crossbowmen and flag-wavers of San Marino.
The old-town centre is located on the top of Mount Titano, 750 m above sea level.
The mighty medieval stone walls enclose the original settlement, which is likewise entirely built of stone and closed to traffic.
The old-town centre is criss-crossed by narrow streets lined with buildings and monuments.

First Tower (Guaita)
It is the first Tower built in San Marino and dates back to the XI century. Subsequently enlarged and remodelled, it achieved utmost splendour in the XV century during the war San Marino fought against the Malatesta Family from Rimini thanks to the support of the dukes of Urbino and the Papal States (1463). Officially chosen as the seat of the Guardia di Rocca in 1754, it had previously been used as a prison up to 1975.
Built at the beginning of the 19th century on the foundations of the pre-existing Roman church.
