Stratford Upon Avon`s Butterfly Farm is The UK's largest tropical butterfly housing. Lots of butterflies flying round as well as interesting bugs in tanks. Leaf ants were fascinating. So much better than our local butterfly farm. A must if your a keen photographer.

We visited the Butterfly Farm at Stratford on Avon, it looked really good fun on the website, so we made the most of a sunny day out. Butterflies fly around your head in the 'Flight Area' and can land on you if you look like a tree, although you aren't supposed to encourage them to or touch them! There are also other areas to wander around and see plants suitable for butterflies and how to attract them into your garden. There are also some glass tanks in two rooms with creepy crawlies, and snakes, Eeeeek! If you plan to visit it's very warm for obvious reasons and very noisy as not only are there fans and heaters on, but also a waterfall in the centre. If you have children who don't like noise, take some ear defenders, I tried to talk to camera and it was pointless. Parking is easy, if you use a satnav or google maps there are carparks next door and opposite. There is no cafe on site, but you can take food and eat it in the garden at the front. If you want a coffee I suggest you walk over the road and head into town crossing over the river on the pedestrian bridge and just the other side is Cox's Yard and The Pantry. There are lots more cafes in Stratford town centre.

SHAKESPEARE'S HOUSE, STRATFORD UPON AVON
Visit Shakespeare's Birthplace to walk in Shakespeare's footsteps and explore the house where he was born and grew up. This is one of the main attractions to visit in Stratford-upon-Avon. The full story ticket is £22.50 per adult that covers 5 family houses. Anne Hathaway's cottage is about a mile from the main city and rest of them are 7-10 mins walk from each other.
1) Anne Hathaway's cottage - It's a beautiful 500-year-old cottage where Shakespeare courted his bride-to-be. See original furniture including the Hathaway bed and uncover five centuries of stories in this picturesque cottage and 13 generations of the family who lived there.

4) Hall's Croft - This was the home of William Shakespeare's daughter Susannah following her marriage in 1607 to Doctor John Hall a prominent local physician.
