Earlier in 2015 I was in Barcelona . People where telling me how nice Portugal and its people where. I googled Portugal and saw a great climate and vibrant colours in the pictures that I was looking at. Just as important great Atlantic beaches. I love the sea “. I booked an easy jet flight from Bristol Airport, for October 2015 which cost about 130 return including insurance. Mega bus from Plymouth to Bristol return 30 pounds hostel sun set at carda Sidra Lisbon. I did not know where the hostel was so was anchious until I got there. I stayed 2 nights at the Rock and bowel hostel Bristol 15 pounds a night. It took three hours to get to Bristol for the flight, two hour flight to just outside Lisbon late afernoon on 21st October, I caught a bus to the Rail station in Lisbon which was the last stop. I then asked a taxi driver for directions to the Sunset hostel. He told me that it was 2 mins away and pointed directly at its entrance door. It could not have been easier.
During my time in Lisbon , I walked miles ,discovering areas that I have not been to before, Finding my way around. Rather than using guided tours, which I used twice, the bus and tram. I recorded everything that looked interesting, from the graffiti to sculpture ceramics architecture, street artists.
Landscape. I felt safe there but had to also be aware of the risks of being approached by people. When this happened I just walked on and did not give eye contact. Drug pushers blatently on the streets pushing hashis and marahwana. If you just say no they move on, but take care they are still breaking the laws there, but the police turn that blind eye.
Two guys tried to pic me up in Belem are but I walked away. They asked me if I liked them? And would I go with them. I said that you look OK They then said come with us? but said no and walked of.

District 13 - Medellin, Colombia (city walk, graffiti, break dance)
Medellin used to be one of the most dangerous city of the world, but district 13 was the most dangerous part of it. Even police didn't come here, they had their own lows. En steed of police they had an organization Gorillas and the leader was Escobar.
But now it is safe and it's really interesting to visit it! of course I do not recommend to visit it at night :)
and we did a tour with the best local guide Sergio.

Artists have challenged art by situating it in non-art contexts. Street artists do not aspire to change the definition of an artwork, but rather to question the existing environment with its own language.[3] The motivations and objectives that drive street artists are as varied as the artists themselves.

‘Street’ artists attempt to have their work communicate with everyday people about socially relevant themes in ways that are informed by esthetic values without being imprisoned by them. There is a strong current of activism and subversion in urban art.
Street art can be a powerful platform for reaching the public and a potent form of political expression for the oppressed, or people with little resources to create change.[5] Common variants include adbusting, subvertising and other culture jamming, the abolishment of private property and reclaiming the streets.

A Postcard From Lisbon October 2015. Girl with Coloured Doves
Earlier in 2015 I was in Barcelona . People where telling me how nice Portugal and its people where. I googled Portugal and saw a great climate and vibrent colours in the pictures that I was looking at. Just as important great Atlantic beaches. I love the sea “. Which is why I am at the moment based in Plymouth UK
I booked an easy jet flight from Bristol Airport, for october 2015 which cost about 130 return including insurance. Mega bus fromPlymouth to Bristol return 30 pounds hoste sun set at carda Sidra Lisban. I did not know where the hostel was so was anchouse until I got there. I stayed 2 nights at the Rock and bowel hostel Bristol 15 pounds a night. It took three hours to get to Bristol for the flight, two hour flight to just outside Lisban late afernoon on 21st October, I caught a bus to the Rail station in Lisban which was the last stop. I then asked a taxi driver for directions to the sunset hostel. He told me that it was 2 mins away and pointed directly at its entrence door. It could not have been easier.
During my time in Lisban , I walked miles ,discovering areas that I have not been to before, Finding my way around. Rather than using guided tours, which I used twice, the bus and tram. I recorded everything that looked interesting, from the graffiti to sculpture ceramics artichecture, street artists.
