Los Angeles: Hollywood Universal Studiofahrt Studio Tour film studio and theme park
Los Angeles: Hollywood Universal Studiofahrt Studio Tour Kulissen
Universal Studios Hollywood is a film studio and theme park in the Universal City community of the San Fernando Valley region of the city of Los Angeles, California, United States. It is one of the oldest and most famous Hollywood film studios still in use. Its official marketing headline is The Entertainment Capital of LA. It was initially created to offer tours of the real Universal Studios sets and is the first of many full-fledged Universal Studios Theme Parks located across the world. Woody Woodpecker is the mascot for Universal Studios Hollywood.
Outside the theme park, a new, all-digital facility near the Universal Studios backlot was built in an effort to merge all of NBCUniversal's West Coast operations into one area. As a result, the current home for KNBC, KVEA and NBC News with Telemundo Los Angeles Bureaus with new digital facility is on the Universal lot formerly occupied by Technicolor SA. Universal City includes hotels Universal Hilton & Towers, the Sheraton Universal Hotel, the multi-screen Globe Theatre, often used for banquets and receptions and Universal CityWalk, which offers a collection of shops and restaurants. In 2013, the park hosted 6,148,000 guests, placing it 17th in the world and 9th among North American parks.

Hello Guys !!! SUBSCRIBE - (‘ViDeshi Traveller’)
Today I am exploring Universal Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles, California. #अमेरिकायात्रा
1. ADMISSION AND LUNCH ONCE COST JUST 25 CENTS
Universal Studios #Hollywood_City started out as simply the Studio Tour in 1964,
giving guests a behind-the-scenes glimpse at movie and television production.
But the studio's roots go all the way back to the silent film years.
ìThis movie studio was founded in 1915 and it has always been in the same location, so itís one of the longest continuous movie studios in Hollywood,î explains USH Creative Director John Murdy.
ìIn 1915, they actually invited the public to experience movie making. It was at the very beginning of movies. There were 20,000 people here on opening day and that was March 15, 1915.
Admission was a quarter and you got lunch for it, too.î This bargain came to an end in the late '20s, when movies began to use sound,
because they found tourists made too much noise during production.
2. The studio's main attraction was the Glamour Tram
In 1964, USH introduced the first incarnation of the Studio Tour,
which cost $2.50 to ride (as compared to today's hefty $92 per ticket).
The tour included a boxed lunch and the vehicles used to transport guests were called Glamour Trams.
The first test run of the Glamour Trams broke down halfway through and the guests had to hoof it back to the entrance.
3. Filmmakers and Relatives of Celebrities Used to Act as Tour Guides
Interestingly enough, the initial tour guides of the Studio Tour were folks USH found working at the studio or relatives of famous people.
ìOne of the first tour guides was a guy named John Badham, who is famous for directing Saturday Night Fever and War Games,î says Murdy.
ìHe got his start as a tour guide at the Studio Tour back in the sixties.
4. Some Past Attractions Were Scarieróand StrangeróThan What We're Used to Today
While many stops along the tour have proven to have long shelf lives, other, sillier stops fell by the wayside.
As you come out of the parting of the Red Sea, thereís an area that was used in some old Tarzan movies,
Murdy says of one of the weirdest attractions he remembers from his childhood. In the early seventies,
for whatever reason, they had a mechanical gorilla on a track that would swing through Tarzanís jungle and he was holding a severed human arm in his hand.
He would make the Tarzan yell and you would just see this gorilla flying in the background.
It hasnít been here in decades but some of the earliest tour attractions were really quirky like that.î
5. The Park Expanded In Order to Attract a Bigger Crowd
In USHís first year, they welcomed just 38,000 visitors total, which Murdy notes is the equivalent to one busy summer day at the park now. Very quickly they realized they needed to create other things to entertain people to extend their day, We had a western stunt show that was really informal back in the '60s and now we have WaterWorld,
which is this big, elaborate special effects extravaganza. We had an animal show in the earliest days and we still have an animal show today.

GUITAR CENTER LA - Store Tour | Hollywood, Los Angeles, California
- A tour of Guitar Center on Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles, California -- featuring electric and acoustic guitars, effects pedals, synths, drums, DJ gear, audio and recording equipment, mixers, electric pianos, amplifiers and much more.
On a recent trip to LA I was passing through the Hollywood area and stopped to visit the famous Guitar Center location on Sunset Boulevard. This walking tour of Guitar Center LA covers the RockWalk entrance, various sections in the music store and features a variety of musical instruments.
Guitar Center is well known for carrying a variety of music gear, and their Los Angeles location is a particular highlight. The music store is massive and I really enjoyed seeing everything they had to offer.

EP4 | Universal Studios Hollywood VIP Tour | Part 1 Studio Tour and Lunch
Welcome to our new series!
If you've never watched us before we are a couple of Disney vloggers from London, England.
Please check out our previous trips - the playlists are down below - and we would love to share those fun trips with you.
In this series we flew BA Club World from Heathrow to Los Angeles [LHR to LAX] for Christmas and we stayed at the BLVD Hotel & Suites in Hollywood for five nights before heading down to Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel in Disneyland, Anaheim, for four nights.
We got an amazing bargaib using our companion voucjer from our BA American Express credit card. The flights cost £900 in total. For both of us. Flying BA Business Class. It's an offer we couldn't say no to.
Regular viewers will know that we usually go to Walt Disney World or Disneyland Paris, so this trip was something different.
Whilst we were in Hollywood we went on a Universal Studios Hollywood VIP tour; visited the huge and incredible Funko Hollywood store; mooched around Warner Bros on their studio tour; went to the Disneyland Hollywood store in search of pins; as well as our usual trip to Target for some shopping fun.
On our drive down to Disneyland we stopped off at the oldest working McDonald's in the world and then enjoyed 5 days of magic in the happiest place on earth: Disneyland.
We have been before but this is our first attempt at vlogging there.
You'll see our room tour of Paradise Pier Hotel and we'll take you into both Disneyland Park and Disney's California Adventure. We'll show you the merch on offer and the rides that we go on. As usual there will be lots of screams.
We usually film on a GoPro Hero 7 Black, but for this trip we have upgraded to the GoPro Hero 8 Black. Looking back at the footage there are a few things we need to adjust before our next trip, but hey, you live and learn!
Today we are at Universal Studios Hollywood for the Vip Experience Tour. It’s our favourite day out ever. We only have enough time to spend one day at Universal whenever we’ve been in LA so this experience is perfect. You get escorted around the park by a host who gets you on all the rides without having to stand in the regular line; you get a buffet breakfast and a wonderful buffet lunch. When they take you on the Studio Tour element of the experience you get to ask around the sets and backlots - which you don’t get to do on the regular tour. And then once the host has taken you on everything the rest of the day is yours to go back on the rides you want. Your Vip Experience lanyard allows you to skip the lines as many times as you like. For anyone short on time, or who doesn’t like standing in long lines, or, like us, loves movie history, it’s the ideal option.
Now we’re not sponsored by Universal, but as we said we do love this day. It’s not cheap, but food is included and you get the bonus of not standing in line AND the added benefits of the studio tour.
Our day at Universal is split over two episodes. In this one you’ll see the buffet breakfast on offer; we’ll take you on the studio tour where we see the set for the tv show, Superstore, the same set where the shower scene in Psycho was filmed! We go on the Kong ride; we see a backlot used in Saving Mr Banks; we get to walk around the backlot used for The Good Place; we see the Psycho house and the crashed plane from War of the Worlds, we have a mooch around Back to the Future Square; and see where Captain America ran barefoot through the streets. You’ll also see an appearance from an infamous great white shark.
After the tour we head to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and ride the Flight of the Hippogriff before heading to lunch, hosted by Dracula, Marilyn Monroe and Doc Brown from Back to the Future.
In the second part of this wonderful day out you’ll see us go on The Mummy, The Simpsons, Transformers, Jurassic World; we’ll be doing lots of march shopping, and we end our night watching the projections and lights how on Hogwarts - so make sure you come back for that!

My Los Angeles Studio Tour
Hey everyone. I didn't have too much time to do a full project today but wanted to get a video done. So here's a very strange look at my studio apartment in Los Angeles. I live very close to downtown and my studio apartment is on the third floor. I've been living here for about 2 years and it's the funnest apartment i've lived in personally but not thrilled with it. I get tons of light which is great for art and filming but can get extremely hot in the summer. Hope you guys enjoy this strange look behind the scenes where I make my designs and sometimes art. Welcome to my very quick apartment tour.

Universal Studios Hollywood in 4K! Los Angeles, California
This is a 4K video of Universal Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles, California. Video captured during the daytime setup of Halloween Horror Nights.
Universal Studios is a relatively short drive to Disneyland. Universal Studios is in the northern part of LA, whereas Disneyland is more in the southern part. If you have time to visit both Disneyland and Universal Studios, do it!
Although there is much construction in 2018 at the park, you’ll find the live attractions in 2018 are similar.
This video was shot in 4K at 30 FPS using an iPhone 8. I also used a stability bar (but no gimbal).
In this video, I walk around the park and take the studio backlot tour. It's a quick cut of various attractions you'll find at Universal Studios Hollywood. You'll see glimpses of food areas as well. And a quick clip of animal actors. The best rides and the backlot are here at the park.
It’s also right next to Citywalk, here in Los Angeles!
Also known as estudios universales in Spanish. Let this walkthrough video guide you.
