Sunrail commuter train in Orlando, Florida!
Friday, January 18, 2019, 12:54 PM. On our way back to the hotel along Colonial Drive, we approach the former CSX tracks that are used now by Sunrail just as the warning lights go on. I get my camera out of the center console and get it fired up in plenty of time to make my first catch of one of these commuter trains, this one heading north along its 49 miles of double track. My wife got a good video with her iphone, which I like better than mine because she got the whole skywalk and the train signals in the picture. You can watch it here:

This video is a look at Orlando, Florida's Sunrail commuter rail line. This video was taken during Friday rush hour. The trains run north to south from Debary to Sand Lake Road. Future expansions include trains to Deland, Poinciana, and Orlando International Airport.
Stations featured are LYNX Central Station, Church Street, and Sand Lake Road.

Saturday, January 5, 2018, 11:00 AM. Well, we found out that there's no service on Orlando's Sunrail commuter line on the weekends, but I got this footage of the Sand Lake Road station with some nice old freight cars parked on a neighboring siding. Sunrail began operations on May 1, 2014. It runs on a former CSX line with 16 stations along a 49-mile, double-track, north/south route, with a daily ridership of 3400 passengers, Monday through Friday.

Everythings great at this station with the exception of the horrible Votran Volusia County bus connection from this station. Simply put, there is no service midday. If you get here from Orlando after 8:30 AM , you have to wait until 3 or 4 in the afternoon to get a local bus out of here.

The train was late it was loud full of screaming kids and a storm with lightning had us at the station under cover.
