Supetar - Island of Brač - Croatia
The town of Supetar, which is also the only ferry port on the island, lies on the northern coast of Brac, in the bay of St. Peter. The white cupola of the new Byzantine Mausoleum of the Petrinovic family is the landmark of the bay. Relax with your friends and family on the lovely pebble beaches with gently descent to the sea. The town offers plenty of opportunities for sports activities such as diving, fishing, sailing and windsurfing, but you can also play tennis, beach volleyball, minigolf and bowling. Every year the town hosts a festival of contemporary European documentary movies known as Supetar Super Film Festival. The programme of the festival includes concerts of popular Croatian bands and art exhibitions.
Město a krásný přístav Supetar, který je současně hlavním trajektovým přístavem na ostrově, najdete na severním pobřeží ostrova Brač v zátoce Sv. Petra. Zátoce dominuje bílá kupole neobyzantského Mauzolea rodiny Petrinović. Odpočívejte s rodinou a přáteli na krásných oblázkových plážích s pozvolným vstupem do moře. Městečko nabízí dostatek sportovního vyžití s možnosti potápění, rybolovu, jachtingu a windsurfingu, ale také tenisu, plážového volejbalu, minigolfu a bowlingu. Jsou zde hřiště na fotbal, volejbal a košíkovou. Každoročně se v letovisku koná festival současného evropského dokumentárního filmu Supetar Super Film Festival. Program festivalu doplňují koncerty předních chorvatských kapel a výstavy různého druhu umění.
