Canggu - Bali Stop #3 | Rip Curl GromSearch Indonesia
In a nail-biting final in the pumping surf of Pererenan Rights at Canggu, a consistent Raju Sena successfully held off Rip Curl Rider Ketut Agus’s radical attack to hold on to his second Gromsearch Title at this break in as many years. For this under 16 year old division Final it was a cage fight between the upstart Ketut Agus and the experienced Raju Sena. But both surfed their own game. Ketut, straight out of the gate, had the highest score of the heat, surfing with total abandon, hungry for the win. But it was a very clever, and steady, Raju Sena who wore his opponent down with superior tactics, snagging two, long clean waves to outpoint his opponent by only 0.4 points, the closet final in Gromsearch’s grand history.

BALI ADVENTURE - SURF LESSONS & SEMINYAK
I've always seen these amazing pictures of Bali and like many of you had the island as a bucket list location. The surfing, food, culture, beauty, cost, all seemed amazing! I had to see for myself what all fuss was all about!
We spent a few weeks this summer, trading one heat for another, exploring the island and doing the family thing. Of course, traveling with kids is very very different then 99% of the other Bali videos you see on Youtube. But, It's totally doable as a family and worth the travel to this special place. Of course there were things we liked and didn't, but overall had a great time!
Here is the first video from our trip. This was our first time surfing as well as first, and last time, getting a fish pedicure.
**Yes, we did the fish Pedicure, but now reading more about it now probably shouldn't have. The kids had fun and it was an experience for sure!**
WE SURFED: Double Six Beach with Santai Surf School.
We did 4 days of beginner lessons and had an incredible time with them. They were great people, great teachers, and didn't charge an arm and a leg. Definitely made the experience fun and enjoyable! Highly Recommend! Check them out here:

Split Peaks - Canggu, 14 December 2019
Split peaks are a fairly rare commodity here in Bali but the Sandbar at Canggu will dish them up sometimes. The right is usually a short meal, but any chance to go right in Bali gets two thumbs up from the natural footers.
The wind stayed light as the tide moved in, so there were plenty of nice waves, particularly between Echo and the Sandbar.

Surfing For The First Time Ever In Changgu Bail! - Vlog #15 - Canggu, Bali, Indonesia
Learning how to surf in Canggu Bali. I think it went pretty good considered it was my first time surfing!
I've always wanted to try out surfing so that was something I wanted to do during this trip. I was slightly afraid my knee wouldn't be able to handle it after the injury but I had no problems at all with it. Should have used it as an excuse a couple of times though!!
Surfing was extremely fun, however, you don't walk up the slope while skiing.
If you got any feedback on anything I would really appreciate to hear it!

January - I have wanted to learn how to surf for a long time and Mom promised that Bali was the perfect spot. I really liked our surf instructor, Wayan. He gave us some instructions on the beach and then took us into the water. Swimming with my board out to the waves was exhausting. It looks scary when the waves crash on you, but I learned that if you can just hold your breath you pop back up right by your board. There were a lot of people out there with me, including kids like me and some older people, like Dad. After about 2 hours of working with Wayan, I could catch a wave and stand up and surf. It was kind of like flying on a board. I felt calm when I was riding the waves. Surfing was a lot of fun. I stayed out so long that I got a board rash. I think everyone who is over the age of 8 should give surfing a shot.
