Hong Kong-born Wilma Komala started surfing over twenty years ago when she was already in her forties. She enjoyed the sport and related laid-back lifestyle so much that she moved to the city’s beachside village of Big Wave Bay. Today, the grandmother can be found riding the waves most weekdays. Wilma says that while Hong Kong may not have the best waves in the world, it’s enough to keep her happy, and it’s home.

DAY SEVEN VLOG - I learned to surf! Awesome day trip to hang out with friends at Big Wave Bay in Hong Kong. Stood up about six times, but none of my brief moments of success made it onto film. Also drank about three litres of seawater over the course of the day... Thanks for teaching us, Kez and Ains!

More Chaos went to check out the International Surfing Day in Hong Kong at Pui O Beach. Alessandro Meccheri found that while there weren't many waves to surf on, the sound waves were pumping instead!
