【4K】Walking in evening Beppu
Not a vlog, no intrusive faces or talking, pure Japan only.
After Matsuyama I got to Yawatahama. Unfortunately I did not have time for Yawatahama, had to get to ferry to Beppu. After arriving to Beppu and dropping luggage I took my camera and decided to go to the park nearby. At the park I noticed big tower which had observatory where I could see whole Beppu. After observatory I walked back to Beppu tower but unfortunately it was closed that day.
1 cat detected.

Fukushima's Worst-Case Scenarios By Paul Blustein
Dear Mr. Blustein, If you want to talk to an Expert Researcher, Contact KevinDBlanch or HatrickPenry on YouTube for more NRC FOIA Documents to set you clear.
You wrote To my knowledge, the only journalist who has bothered to research the U.S. scenario in any depth is Yoichi Funabashi, the former editor of the Asahi Shimbun. I beg your pardon, but HatrickPenry and KevinDBlanch have a LOT more NRC FOIA documents and can help set you straight!
Article Here:
Clearly the Nuclear Industry is trying to defend the NRC by posting such an article.
Intro by KevinDBlanch Fukushima GIANT,breaking news, the Orchestrators OF THE COVER UP COME OUT kevin D. blanch 9/26/13
coverage has given rise to baseless fears about Fukushima that have heavily influenced public opinion. It is time to dispel those fears was the conclusion of Paul Blustein's story. LIES! The Press isn't making a big deal out of a triple meltdown disaster!!! There has been LITTLE to NO PRESS! Please view these three videos:
1. BUSTED: Japan 'scared' of telling truth to Fukushima evacuees 9/28/11
2. Gregory Jaczko: The Ongoing Fukushima Daiichi Crisis 9/24/2013

3. Fukushima: SFP#4 Dry Jazcko & the TEPCO video (Plume-gate)
In the article
On a heavily guarded campus east of San Francisco stands Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, one of the U.S. government's premier scientific research facilities. Hours after a massive earthquake and tsunami struck Japan on March 11, 2011, a team of Livermore scientists mobilized to begin assessing the danger from the crippled Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear plant. The 40-odd team members include physicists, meteorologists, computer modelers, and health specialists. Their specialty is major airborne hazards—toxic matter from chemical fires, ash from volcanoes, or radioactive emissions.
The scientists' work—secret at the time and barely known to the public even today—had an enormous impact on Japan's nuclear crisis, averting a potentially disastrous U.S. overreaction. (WORRIED MUCH?)
In the White House Situation Room, an emergency task force included officials from so many agencies that the screen showing video-conference participants was often divided into 32, with people from the Pentagon, Hawaii, Tokyo, and elsewhere. The diplomats involved resisted troop evacuations: What kind of signal would that send to China, North Korea, and allies around the world? If panic erupted in Tokyo, wouldn't that irreparably harm the U.S.-Japan relationship?
The main focus of concern was the 40,000-plus active-duty military members, near Tokyo. Those bases are key to the U.S. strategy of maintaining stability in the Asia Pacific.
The biggest source of concern, both men agreed, was the spent fuel pool in Reactor No. 4, which U.S. nuclear experts in Japan believed had lost its capacity to retain water following a nearby explosion. A lack of water in the pool could mean that the 1,000-plus rods of fuel would heat up, catch fire, and emit so much radiation that any workers in the immediate vicinity would fall fatally sick within hours.
This is why the White House called upon the team at Livermore. Formally known as the National Atmospheric Release Advisory Center, or NARAC,
which by some reckonings is less severe and more solvable than recent headlines suggest.)
Translation: The Nuclear industry would have you believe that dumping the radioactive water in the shoddy tanks (which by the way were only built to last 3 years and were bolted not welded together) out to sea is a great answer to conspiracy theory people claiming that the nuclear industry is NOT SAFE. Clearly, the nuclear industry is NOT safe, and to say that it is, is simply Their Conspiracy to slow kill you while raking in the money, at YOUR expense.
Tokyo only narrowly escaped harmful radiation
Naoto Kan, who was prime minister at the time and has since become a leading advocate of eliminating nuclear power, draws headlines with his estimate that the evacuation of 50 million Japanese—with ensuing mass panic and many casualties—came terrifyingly close to reality.
Look at the People Proclaiming to be telling the truth... Fetter, who was assistant director at-large in Holdren's office, had even more specialized expertise in the science of nuclear accidents. His Ph.D. thesis at Berkeley (where Holdren was his adviser) was titled Radiological Hazards of Fusion Reactors,
It was an honest mistake. On the morning of March 16, 2011, top officials of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission concluded that the spent fuel pool in Reactor No. 4 at Fukushima Dai-ichi must be dry.

【4K】Walking somewhere in Kawasaki and Yokohama
Not a vlog, no intrusive faces or talking, pure Japan only.
I was hoping to fly my drone that day and found place where it's not a high populated area and with fields. So I started from Kakio station in Kawasaki, visited temple Jokei with funny jizo statues. Then I tried to get away off houses but could not do that before sunset and finished in some very rural but still populated area in Yokohama.

Next day after night Aokigahara I decided to walk along Kawaguchiko lake. It was harder to see mt. Fuji, but it had more sakura and some distance for walk. I started from Fuji marina (marina on lake?), walked through Shikkogo park, Fujiomurosengen shrine, Yagizaki park and finished on Kawaguchiko Ohashi bridge.

Are Post 2011 Japan Cars More Radioactive?
With the recent Fukushima incident a vendor in Japan has emerged who produces a series of really inexpensive Gamma Radiation detectors. A fun bit of kit to help me answer a question my friend raised a few years ago regarding radioactivity. More info on my blog at:
