Voted the best hotel in Northern Europe by Conde Nast Travellers' readers, The Thief is Oslo's luxury design hotel at Tjuvholmen. A great location right next to the Astrup Fearnley Museum, you can in fact use your room key to get free access to the museum.
The Thief has probably the most exclusive spa in Norway, a nice restaurant and bar. The hotel is done in a dark colour scheme by designer Anemone Wille Våge. Great bed, an in-room shopping drawer and huge bathrooms

The Thief - probably the most chic boutique hotel in Oslo
The Thief is a chic waterfront hotel, located near Aker Brygge. It has a great view of the Oslo fjord. The area boasts lots of eateries with outdoor tables that serves Nordic or French cuisine, or even fast foods like burgers and steak. There are many shops in the area and the pier is a great place to seat by the waterside and relax.The Thief has a luxurious interior and a spa, and it is a part of Nordic Hotels chain owned by billionaire Petter Stordalen. An interesting story behind the name of the Hotel is – the place where it is located Tjuvholmen, according to historians, in the 18th century, was infested with robbers. So, the hotel probably got inspired by history to take such a name. Today, Tjuvholmen is a posh neighbourhood and very conveniently located near Ferry Terminal from where ferries depart year-round for the scenic Oslo Fjord tours.
