この施設はA館とB館でそれぞれ別れているので、連絡通路があります。そこになんとオートスロープをつけてしまう、なんとも親切な百貨店です。
基本は普通のエスカレーターと変わりありませんが、オートスロープのみそごう特有のプルプル音が鳴ります。
本当は反対側と6階にもありますが(ここは8階)、時間の都合でここのみです。リクエストがあれば撮影します。

Day in the Life of a Japanese Car Repair Worker in Toyota
Living in Japan and working in a traditional Japanese office environment. This is a Toyota day in the life of a Japanese Auto Repair Shop worker, 30 year old, Erina. This is also a Japanese office tour inside of a Japanese auto repair shop in Toyota. We start this very typical day in her Japanese home, commute via Toyota car to her Toyota car repair shop. This is a day in the life of Erina and we get to see her with co-workers and Japanese mechanics in how they work in Japan. This is a peak into Japanese work culture as well as the work culture in Japan. We see her typical working hours in Japan and how it is working in Japan as a female in her position also known as a Japanese office lady, Japanese OL or Japanese salary woman. Her day in the life in Japan may be a bit different than some Japanese salarymen, but her experiences in the office and auto repair shop is quite common for Japanese employees in her position. The Japanese auto repair shop is also pretty common in terms of work-life. If anythings, the car repair shop is a very traditional office in Japan with Rajio Taiso, cleaning and work ethic. So all in all, this is an example of Japan life as well as Japan countryside life if you were to work in a traditional Japanese company. You should always be aware of Japanese culture when working in a Japanese office.

誰だ低評価ばっかり打っとるヤツは(・∀・)
豊田といえばココですね。
A館とB館で別れており、機種は同じですが、少し違うところがあります。
A館は前期のアクセルシリーズで、ボタンが出っ張っているのが特徴です。アナンセンサーもあります。シースルーではなく、金色の内装がメインになっています。こちら側のみ車椅子対応機(後付け)があり、対応機にはゆっくり操作盤とアナウンスがあります。車椅子操作盤にはインジがありません。なお、R階はイベント時しか停止しません。(現在ビアガーデンが行われています!!)
B館は後期のアクセルシリーズです。ボタンが引っ込んでいるのが特徴です。こちらもアナンセンサーがあります。シースルー仕様で、豊田市内の景色を一望できます。なお、1Fから10Fまでです。こちら側には車椅子対応機がありませんが、1階と2階の乗り場ボタンのみ違う形になっています。
なお、元そごうだったため、プルプル音が鳴ります。(車椅子対応機だけ違う)

Turkish prosecutors open probe into ousted Nissan Chairman Carlos Ghosn's escape from Japan
Under house arrest and 24-hour surveillance, ousted Nissan chairman became an international fugitive when he reportedly hid inside a large musical instrument case Sunday and smuggled himself out of Japan to flee criminal prosecution there.
Ghosn’s wife, Carole, whom he hasn’t seen since his arrest more than a year ago, orchestrated his dramatic escape, according to The Guardian. He was aided by a band of Gregorian musicians, who were hired to perform at a dinner party at his home in Tokyo, and a team of former special forces officers, the paper reported, citing Lebanese TV news channel MTV for some of the details.
After the performance, Ghosn tucked himself inside one of the cases, which was transported to a small local airport, where a private plane took him to Istanbul, Turkey, the British paper reported. The Guardian said he appears to have boarded a Bombardier Challenger private jet bound for Lebanon, where he arrived before dawn on Monday.
The Brazil-born auto titan was raised in Beirut and is a citizen of Brazil, France and Lebanon. As a citizen, he’s protected from extradition from Lebanon. Local authorities said he legally entered the country and wouldn’t face any repercussions, according to local media reports.
Ghosn was a giant in the auto industry. A dynamic executive credited with turning around the Japanese manufacturer, Ghosn was arrested in November 2018 and charged with multiple financial misdeeds while running Nissan. He and his wife have maintained his innocence and fought for his release from the Japanese justice system over the past year.
“I have not fled justice — I have escaped injustice and political persecution. I can now finally communicate freely with the media, and look forward to starting next week,” Ghosn said in a statement confirming his arrival in Lebanon.
He said he will “no longer be held hostage by a rigged Japanese justice system where guilt is presumed, discrimination is rampant, and basic human rights are denied, in flagrant disregard of Japan’s legal obligations under international law and treaties it is bound to uphold.”
Ghosn’s lead attorney in Japan, Junichiro Hironaka, told reporters that he was “surprised and baffled” by his client’s escape, the Financial Times reported.
Hironaka said his legal team still held all of Ghosn’s passports and last saw him on Christmas Day with an agreement to meet Jan. 7 to discuss his upcoming trial, according to the Financial Times.
“If this [escape] is true, we have to assume that this is a breach of bail conditions,” Hironaka said. “His act is unforgivable and a betrayal of Japan’s justice system.”
Japan’s Ministry of Justice didn’t immediately reply to CNBC’s request for comment on Ghosn’s statement.
Lebanese media said that Ghosn arrived in the country by private jet from Turkey and the newspaper Annahar reported that caretaker State Minister Salim Jreissati said he entered with a French passport, according to Bloomberg.
Financial Times editor Lionel Barber tweeted on Tuesday that “Beirut sources saying [Ghosn] hid in a box designed for a musical instrument.”

In July 1999, Toyota began production of the seventh-generation Celica. It closely resembled the XYR concept with the exception of the front bumper and rear spoiler, while omitting the previously available coupe body style. The 2000 model year Celica was an element of Toyota Project Genesis, an effort to bring younger buyers to the marque in the United States. Toyota took time to lighten the car and lower cost wherever possible. Power window and door lock controls were placed in the center console so only 1 set was necessary for both doors. Initial sunroofs were made of polymer plastic instead of the traditional glass. This generation was assembled by Kanto Auto Works at its Higashi-Fuji plant in Susono, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan.
The Celica came in two different models. The ZZT230 was powered by a relatively economical 1.8 L 4-cylinder 140 hp (104 kW) 1ZZ-FE engine and the ZZT231 powered by a higher-performance 1.8 L 4-cylinder 192 hp (143 kW) (in Europe and Japan) 2ZZ-GE version, co-developed with Yamaha, the latter featuring a two-step variable valve lift control in conjunction with its variable valve timing. In 2004, CNNMoney.com rated the Celica as one of the best cars to purchase for fuel economy.
The GT was powered by the 1ZZ-FE rated at 140 bhp (104 kW; 142 PS) at 6400 rpm and 125 lb·ft (169 N·m) of torque at 4200 rpm. It uses Toyota’s VVT-i (Variable Valve Timing with intelligence) system which modulated the intake cam phase angle to increase torque and horsepower throughout the rev range. This is a similar engine used on the Matrix, Corolla, and MR2 Spyder. Transmission choices comprised a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic. The GT has standard front disc brakes and rear drum brakes, 195/60/15 with standard wheel covers or optional alloy wheels.
The GT-S was powered by the 2ZZ-GE engine rated at 180 bhp (134 kW; 182 PS) at 7600 rpm and 133 lb·ft (180 N·m) torque at 6800 rpm. The engine featured Toyota’s VVTL-i (Variable Valve Timing and Lift control with intelligence). A second stage valve lift control for intake was added to the variable intake cam phase timing. Variants of this engine were offered in the Matrix XRS, Corolla XRS and the Lotus Elise (with a Lotus ECU which added 10 bhp). Buyers had the option of a four-speed automatic with shift buttons on the steering wheel, or a six-speed manual. The base tire size was 205/55/15 but the optional size offered was 205/50/16. The tire upgrade was merely US$42 so most GT-S models had the optional wheels and tires. All GT-S models had four-wheel disc brakes and metal pedals. Manual transmission shifters and all steering wheels were upgraded to leather. Liftback cargo covers were standard along with fog lights for models without the Action Package.
Exporting of the Celica ceased in July 2005. However until mid-May, customers could still order one, although it was advised they took action before that time ended.
The last Celica was rolled off production line on 21 April 2006, after 36 years and seven generations. In its last year, the Celica was only officially sold in Japan. There has been no direct successor to the Celica.
The Rise Of Toyota
Toyota became one of the world’s largest automakers by churning out cars, trucks, and sport utility vehicles. In the United States several models were among the country's best selling cars in 2018 including the Toyota Corolla, Camry, Highlander and Tacoma.
Over the years, Toyota has grown a reputation for being affordable, reliable, safe and... kind of boring. A scion of the Toyoda family, Akio Toyoda, now has the reins at the company and has given the company a severe order for no more boring cars.
Now the Japanese giant is doubling down on speed, adventure, and cutting edge technology, in a bid to survive and succeed. It recently relaunched the Toyota Supra, which was originally produced from the late 1970s to the early 2000s.

The Toyota MR2 is a two-seat, mid-engined, rear-wheel-drive sports car manufactured in Japan and marketed globally by Toyota from 1984 to 2007 over three generations: W10 (1984–1989), W20 (1990–1999) and W30 (2000–2007). It is Japan's first mid-engined production car.
Conceived as a small, economical and sporty car, the MR2 employed straightforward design elements, including fully independent MacPherson strut front and rear suspensions, four wheel disc brakes, and transverse-mounted inline-four engines.
The name MR2 stands for either mid-ship, run-about, 2-seater or mid-engine, rear-wheel-drive, 2-seater.
The MR2 went through a redesign in 1989 (though North America did not receive them until late 1990 as 1991 models). The new car was larger, weighed 350 to 400 pounds (160 to 180 kg) more than its predecessor due to having a more luxurious and spacious cabin, larger engine sizes, sturdier transaxle, and a more durable suspension setup. The overall design of the automobile received a more rounded, streamlined styling, with some calling the MR2 SW20 a baby Ferrari as well as poor man's Ferrari, since the car did have several design cues borrowed from Ferrari.
Like the AW11 before it, Toyota spent countless hours fine-tuning the handling capabilities of the SW20, seeking advice from professional race car drivers, including Dan Gurney of Formula One and NASCAR fame.
When the AW11 was still in production and before the SW20 was officially shown to the public, several rumors were spreading stating that Toyota was building yet another mid-engine sports car, one that would have a 3.0L V6 engine that could directly compete with the 348, though this specific rumor was later shot down under the pretense that such a car would belong under the Lexus branding.
Japanese market trim levels:
G with an NA 2.0L 3S-GE engine producing 165 PS (121 kW; 163 hp); with an A/T standard and an optional M/T. The G was the base model of the SW20 line-up. Standard features included: climate control, electric mirrors, and fabric door/seat trim.
G-Limited with the NA 2.0L 3S-GE engine; an A/T was standard or an M/T was optional. The G-Limited was the higher-specification naturally aspirated SW20. Additional standard features: electric folding mirrors, steering fog lamps, and rear spoiler.
GT-S with a turbocharged 2.0L 3S-GTE engine producing 221 PS (163 kW; 218 hp); an M/T was the only choice. The GT-S had the same standard features as the G-Limited.
GT with the turbocharged 2.0L 3S-GTE engine and manual transmission. The GT was considered as the luxury specification in the SW20 line-up and had alcantera/leather door and seat trim in addition to G-Limited standard features. All Japanese market cars came equipped with electronic climate control featuring 2 stage air conditioning.
