Forest of Yakushima
Lovely, lovely forest of Yakushima, a UNESCO World Heritage site. 屋久島の森。The birds and the trees and the sound of the little river - it was calming place! I'm sorry I have no videos from Princess Mononoke's forest though, but I can assure you that was even more beautiful! Shiratani forest, Yakushima, Japan. 2012-03-15
Cordoba
Cordoba a city in andalusia spain.an ancient medieval town it was a melting pot of many cultures which can be seen in its monuments and landmarks. A Roman bridge spans the guadalquivir river and has witnessed history as it happened. Romans visigoths christians and moors have left their indelible imprint on this city. It was a historic learning centre for many centuries and a the bustling city had hamams (public baths) and palaces and protecting them were the walls(murallas) after the conquest of cordobain 1236 by king ferdinand III the reconquista accelerated and moved further southwards till explusion of moors into africa. the city celebrates it culture of tolerance by honoring jewish scholars like maimonides whose statue commemorates his contribution to those times. the not to be missed landmarks are the great mosque or the mezquita the roman bridge and its surrounding monuments the alcazar de los reyos christianos banos arabes al andalus is a restored bath complex close to the historical sites. best way to cover cordoba is on foot especially if you are restricting yourself to the historic centre.. a modern city now connected to high speed networl cordoba is well connected to madrid and can be done as a daytrip if you have kept madrid as your base. however a 2 days stay will allow you to explore cordoba and especially the evening time at dusk the mood and colors across the roman bridge are magical!!!!!

Kotor, Montenegro - virtual tour
Kotor is a coastal town in Montenegro. It is located in a secluded part of the Gulf of Kotor. It is a fortified town on Montenegro’s Adriatic coast, in a bay near the limestone cliffs of Mt. Lovćen. Characterized by winding streets and squares, its medieval old town has several Romanesque churches, including Kotor Cathedral. It's also home to the Maritime Museum, which explores local seafaring history. Sveti Đorđe, one of 2 tiny islands off the ancient town of Perast, features a centuries-old church.
The old Mediterranean port of Kotor is surrounded by fortifications built during the Venetian period. It is located on the Bay of Kotor (Boka Kotorska), one of the most indented parts of the Adriatic Sea. Some have called it the southern-most fjord in Europe, but it is a ria, a submerged river canyon. Together with the nearly overhanging limestone cliffs of Orjen and Lovćen, Kotor and its surrounding area form an impressive and picturesque Mediterranean landscape.
In recent years, Kotor has seen a steady increase in tourists, many of them coming by cruise ship. Visitors are attracted both by the natural beauty of the Gulf of Kotor and by the old town of Kotor.
Kotor is part of the World Heritage Site dubbed the Natural and Culturo-Historical Region of Kotor.
