proyecto desierto (1ra parte)
Prupuesta de caracter artístico cultural, realizado en la ciudad de tacna(Perú) gracias al trabajo de las agrupaciones theatre embassy y cascoland de Holanda y al grupo teatral Deçiertopicante de dicha ciudad. Este proyecto se llevó a cabo entre los mese de Setiembre y dicembre, arrojando como resultado 3 presentaciones:
La 1ra en Nueva Barranquilla, en el limite fronterizo distrital entre ciudad Nueva y pocollay
La 2da en la Plaza Mayor de Tacna, construyendo un laberinto sobre la Lampara Votiva
La 3ra en el Balneario de Boca del Rio, sobre la loma del cerro frente a la playa con una puesta en escena que iniciaba a la puesta de sol.

The Desert Project was a human experience very intense and rich that took place in southern Peru. Imagine 30 people who came from different locations, Theatre Embassy and Cascoland from Holland and Deciertopicante from Peru.
For two and a half months we worked here in the city of Tacna, which is the head of one of the driest deserts in the world.
That experience was very intense, very rich and at the distance it now looks fantastic.
Peru is a developing country that nevertheless is going through a stage of an interesting and important economy, an economic development that we had not seen in decades, but in 2009 was a very difficult year and 2008 was a year that left a sizeable economy. In this context, however, the city of Tacna was troubled by a dispute over the rational use of water. Tacna is a desert, is really a valley but in the higher areas of Tacna, where there is snow over the mountains, there are sources of rivers, where mines, large transnationals wish to collect water for their own use, and somehow it is limiting the water consumption of the population and the strike was for that reason. The slogan of the moment was Water yes, not mining. Meaning water as a symbol of life.
Nothing better for our project because we played key issues as was the theme of the desert and the issue of water and sustainable development, so our guests had the opportunity to see the synopsis of a conflict in our society.
The next topic I want to discuss with you is the meaning of the Teatro Orfeon. Theater Orfeon be turned into a Tower of Babel, many people of diverse cultures and languages were trying to agree on how to do theater. Imagine the Dutch, Castilian, English, Aymara and all artistic languages of our various organizations trying to agree on how to do theater, nothing more difficult that thirty artists and one of them says: It's here the way. This was difficult but this did it exciting and very interesting
But besides being a human experience and language experience, I think it might be more interesting to tell you is that this was an artistic experience. Finally Fiona de Bell and Cascoland provided community art experience, about how to do small jobs from the everyday, and from objects to build artistic performances. Theatre Embassy provided all their knowledge in organizing and financing and direction of Berith Danse who allowed join these pieces, the puzzle that made the show. and I think Deciertopicante brought not only youth, gave his experience in acting and dramaturgy. You may also be highlighted the knowledge of the social context in which we develop this experience. So we turned the desert into a multicultural setting that was in pursuit of sustainable development.

TERRENAL: BANDA DE HEAVY METAL PERUANO

Biografía TERRENAL
TERRENAL es una banda que se formó en agosto del 98 por iniciativa de Omar Suárez (guitarra) y Rafael Martínez (bajo). Entonces deciden llamar a Marko Del Carpio como vocalista, quien además ya había participado en la banda de covers Marvel con Omar.
Empezaron a trabajar 2 temas compuestos por Omar durante la época de Marvel : Amo y Señor y Fuego de Verdad , temas de heavy metal clásico en la línea de Iron Maiden y también de Deep Purple.
La primera presentación del grupo fue en diciembre del 99, en un local de la avenida Arequipa , con las bandas Armagedón, Legión y Angelus, obteniendo muy buenos comentarios. Este día la banda se presentó sin nombre por que aun no le habían puesto uno.
En enero del 2000 empiezan a trabajar 2 temas nuevos: El estigma de Caín, un tema largo y con toques progresivos y Cuestión de tiempo, un tema pesado y cercano al thrash.
En marzo de este año se realiza la segunda presentación de la banda en un local barranquino, junto a grupos como Andrómeda, Darken, Legión, entre otros.
En abril TERRENAL toca en El Averno del centro de Lima junto a Andrómeda, Darken y Angelus.
Hacia finales del 2000 la banda se toma un receso en el que los integrantes fundadores deciden hacer algunos cambios en la banda. A partir de ese momento entra Giovani Viale en los teclados, sustituyendo a Coco y se comienza a trabajar con Walter Urco en la batería. Con esta nueva alineación, TERRENAL empieza a trabajar temas ligeramente mas progresivos y con arreglos mas sinfónicos, y que iban de acuerdo a la influencia de las bandas que los integrantes del grupo estaban empezando a escuchar (Symphony X, Nation, Shadow Gallery, Dream Theater, etc.)
En marzo del 2001 TERRENAL hace una grabación casera con los temas Como Ayer, El Poder del m.a.l., El estigma de Caín, Amo y Señor y Cuestión de tiempo.
En junio del 2001 TERRENAL se presentó junto a la banda argentina Rata Blanca en la concha acústica de San Miguel, ya con Cesar Gonzáles en la batería y con un guitarrista de apoyo, ya que Giovani no podía tocar ese día.
En octubre de ese año la banda hace su primera presentación con su formación actual en un local de Comas. Días después toca en el Kaos del centro de Lima con las bandas M.A.S.A.C.R.E. ,Emerald, Dominium, entre otras.
En abril del 2002 TERRENAL se presentó en Trujillo, obteniendo muy buenos comentarios. En julio de este año se presentó nuevamente en el Kaos en el concierto Mas Metal Que Nunca.
El 21 de diciembre del 2002 se llevó a cabo el concierto llamado Mas Metal Que Nunca 2, donde TERRENAL estuvo junto a bandas como Necropsya,Psicorragia, entre otras.
En el 2003 la actividad en lo que a conciertos se refiere bajó considerablemente. TERRENAL sólo participo en 3 conciertos ese año: El Primer Concierto Metal 2003 (Nacho Pop producciones), uno en el Cuchito´s Pub y uno en La Noche de Barranco. El 2003 fue un año en que la banda decidió enfocarse en planificar la grabación del disco asi como a terminar de componer todos los temas que estarían incluidos. Esto sumado a la mala organización de la mayoría de conciertos en el medio, hizo que la banda toque muy poco. Además es decisión de la banda tocar sólo cuando las condiciones sean las mínimas requeribles para hacer un buen show.
El 06-10-2004 abrieron el show a Richie Kotzen (Poison MR. Big), en su gira mundial en el Ambassador Lima Perú
