Tan My Design opened its second shop in 2009, making this a three-generation traditional business. The three-level, 1,000 square meter shop is a contemporary emporium of gorgeous fabrics and fashion, silk products, lacquer ware, art pieces, jewelry, accessories and more. EXPLORING VIETNAM | CERAMIC VILLAGE IN HANOI

Starting with the series “EXPLORING VIETNAM”, the tourist attraction of today which is BAT TRANG CERAMIC VILLAGE.

Located in an area rich in clay, the ceramic village has advantage of ingredients to create fine ceramics. Moreover, lying besides the Red river, between Thang Long and Pho Hien, two ancient trade centers in the north of Vietnam during 15th-17th century.

Bat Trang belongs to Gia lam district of Hanoi. You can catch the bus 47 (Long Bien- Bat Trang) that stop just a few steps from Dong Xuan market with the end terminal in Bat Trang. The bus runs every 20 minutes. You can also ride a motorbike from the center of Hanoi to Bat Trang ( 20 minutes) – rent one or get a Grab car to take you there!

Bat Trang pottery products have been highly appreciated for their quality, many designs, designs and types, divided into functional groups such as household ceramics, worship items, fine pottery Art, building ceramics and decorative ceramics.

Especially, when visiting here, you can make your own ceremic products with the instruction of local people. The price for each product is around VND40,000 - 50,000.
It’s really cool. You should try it and bring your own product to go home.

We visited Vietnam’s largest market, the Ben Thanh Market in Ho Chi Minh City! This is where you can find the best cheap shopping in Vietnam. Think fake bags, cheap clothing, Vietnamese food, and incredible souvenirs all located within the Bến Thành Market. We show you the day market and the night market in Vietnam so you can make the best decision of which to visit.

The Ben Thanh Market in Saigon is the one of the largest and oldest Vietnam Markets. With over 3,000 vendors, Bến Thành is one of the best things to do in Saigon. You can find some of the best cheap shopping in Vietnam here all for incredible prices. The quality of the goods in this market are great and haggling is a must while you’re here! If you want to relax and avoid the bargaining, you can stay to the fixed pricing sections along the outer walls of Ben Thanh.

As far as a fake market in Vietnam is concerned, I would say you can find the highest quality knockoff goods here for the best prices. We enjoyed the night market in Saigon a little bit better than the day market because there was space to move around. However, both markets sell very similar items. If you’re looking for things to do in Saigon, we highly recommend both the Ben Thanh Market and the Ben Thanh Night Market.

Pink Church - 2020 | Tan Dinh Church | Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam | Nhà thờ Tân Định | 粉紅教堂

Lying peacefully in the heart of HCMC for more than one century, Tan Dinh Church has been a convergence point for not only Catholic pilgrims to practice their religious belief but also for tourists from far and wide who come to admire the imposing French-influenced architecture and find some peace for their soul. 

Its history may be traced back to the French colonial time when construction of the church started in 1870 and was completed in 1876.  The nearly-150-year-old church was built in Gothic architecture featuring Roman-style designs.    

Tan Dinh Church, better known as Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, was painted with the vibrant pink color for both the exterior and interior of the cathedral, making it more special amidst the heart of the modern city and drawing huge attention of passers-by and those from abroad.

Taking a stroll around the busy Hai Ba Trung Street in HCMC’s District 3, it comes as no surprise that everyday hundreds of local youths and foreign tourists, regardless of their religions, are gathered at one of the oldest and most striking churches of the city to visit and pose for photos.
